The HTD-GS500 high-temperature and high-pressure water loss tester is an instrument that simulates the filtration loss of drilling fluid or cement slurry in deep wells under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. Temperature and pressure play a significant role in the control of filtrate, therefore, the determination of high-temperature and high-pressure filtrate volume is an important indicator of drilling fluid control technology.
High temperature and high pressure water loss (HT/HP) filtration loss is a key indicator for on-site drilling fluid testing, which has important guiding significance for drilling engineering construction. The testing method for HT/HP filtration loss of water-based drilling fluids in China is mainly based on GB/T 16783.1-2006 "Petroleum and natural gas industries - Field testing of drilling fluids - Part 1: Water based drilling fluids".
