Product Details

Flanged cast iron gates are mainly used in water supply and drainage, flood prevention, irrigation, water conservancy, and hydropower projects to cut off, clear water flow, or regulate water level. They are designed and produced according to the general standards of the Ministry of Construction and the American AWWA standards. It adopts an outer arc design, with a reasonable structure and uniform force distribution. It is made of high-quality gray cast iron or ductile iron, stainless steel, and the sealing surface of the water stop is embedded with copper strips or rubber. After precision processing and matching, it achieves a planar contact seal with good sealing performance. When the sealing and water stop performance decreases, it can be solved by adjusting the wedge device.

1. The flange type cast iron gate consists of a door frame, gate plate, guide rail, sealing strip, transmission screw, suspension block nut/lifting ear, and adjustable sealing mechanism. The door frame and gate plate are both made of high-quality gray cast iron or ductile iron. The guide rail is symmetrically arranged on both sides and connected to the two ends of the door frame with stainless steel bolt positioning pins (for small and medium-sized gates, the guide rail can be cast as a whole with the door frame). The length of the guide rail is generally 1/2 to 1/3 of the full opening height of the gate, so the overall structural strength is high, rigidity is high, wear resistance, corrosion resistance is good, and pressure bearing capacity is large.

2. The sealing is achieved through the wedging of the wedge block device, and the sealing material is copper alloy or rubber, which is finely processed and matched, resulting in good sealing performance.

3. It is installed using pre embedded steel plates or pre embedded bolts, which is easy to install, debug, use, and maintain, and has a long service life.

5. Used in conjunction with a hoist, the gate is the working part, and the hoist is the executing part for opening and closing the gate. The hoist is driven by human, electric, pneumatic, hydraulic mechanisms to drive the gears, worm gears, and other components of the transmission device. The drive nut or screw rotates to make the gate shaft move vertically up and down, thereby opening or closing the gate to achieve the purpose of water flow, water closure, or water level adjustment.
