1Overview

Elastic seat sealed gate valves have long replaced traditional gate valves in European and American countries due to their superior performance, and have successfully undergone a long period of testing. The VTON brand's soft seal gate valve from the United States adopts an elastic seat sealed soft seal gate valve, which utilizes the deformation compensation effect of the valve's overall rubber coating to achieve good sealing effect, overcoming the problems of poor sealing, water leakage, and rust in general gate valves. It has the characteristics of no internal leakage, no external leakage, long rubber service life, rust free valve spraying, environmental protection and non toxicity, and can be widely used in various systems such as fire protection, tap water, sewage, etc.

IIPerformance Characteristics

1. No internal leakage: Traditional gate valves have a groove on the valve body for inserting the gate due to sealing considerations. If stones or other debris fall into the groove in the pipeline network, it will cause poor sealing and internal leakage. The elastic seat sealed gate valve has a flat bottom without grooves and is sealed with a flexible rubber valve plate, solving the internal leakage problem of traditional gate valves.

2. No leakage: The elastic seat sealed gate valve stem is equipped with three O-ring seals, which have good sealing effect and low opening and closing friction.

3. Rubber encapsulation technology: The rubber is vulcanized and encapsulated onto the casting using encapsulation and bonding techniques, resulting in tight adhesion, good rubber elasticity, and long service life.

4Structure and working principle

（1） Valve structure

(II)working principle

The elastic seat sealed gate valve drives the valve stem to rotate by turning the handwheel (or transmission cap), thereby driving the valve plate to rise or fall, opening or closing the valve, and opening or cutting off the water flow (clockwise closing, counterclockwise opening).

5Precautions for use

1. Valves should be stored in a dry and ventilated room, and stacking is strictly prohibited.

2. It is strictly prohibited to apply oily substances to the lining layer.

3. Before installation, check the valve usage parameters to avoid using the valve beyond its intended range, in order to prevent economic losses.

4. Before installation, check the cleanliness of the valve cavity and clean it thoroughly.

5. When opening or closing the valve, excessive torque operation is prohibited to avoid damage to components and reduce the service life of the valve.
