Roots blower is a positive displacement fan, and the air volume conveyed is proportional to the number of revolutions. The three bladed impeller performs three suction and exhaust operations with two impellers per rotation. Compared with the two bladed impeller, the gas pulsation is reduced, the load change is small, the mechanical strength is high, the noise is low, and the vibration is also small. There are two three bladed impellers on two parallel axes, and a small gap is always maintained between the impellers and the inner hole surface of the elliptical casing. Due to the constant rotation of the impellers in opposite directions, a certain amount of gas surrounded by the casing and impellers is transported from the suction side to the discharge side. Each impeller is always maintained in the correct phase by synchronous gears, and there is no mutual contact phenomenon, so it can be driven at high speed without internal lubrication. 3. The working environment temperature of the fan should not exceed 40 degrees Celsius. If it exceeds, measures should be taken to cool it down, otherwise the service life of the fan will be shortened.

4. When configuring the fan outdoors, please set up a rain shelter.

Installation of 185KW Roots blower-Precautions for installation of fan ducts

1. The fan ducts should be tightly connected and not leak air, and brackets should be installed at appropriate positions.

2. The pipeline material should be able to withstand exhaust temperature and pressure. (Try to use steel pipes as much as possible)

3. The interior of the pipeline should be clean and free of foreign objects to prevent debris from entering.

4. A one-way valve should be installed on the pipeline to prevent the backflow of high-pressure gas caused by fan reversal from entering the fan and causing damage to the fan. Attention: The one-way valve should be installed on a horizontal pipeline.

5. In the case of multiple wind turbines operating in parallel, gate valves must be installed on each branch pipeline (one of the turbines can be shut off during maintenance).

6. An exhaust valve should be installed on the pipeline to prevent the fan from starting under load. The fan should be started with no load before gradually closing the exhaust valve. When operating under load and shutting down, the exhaust valve should also be opened first to confirm that the fan is not under load before shutting down the fan.
