Fiberglass acid-base neutralization tank
1、 Acidic wastewater treatment
The commonly used methods for neutralizing acidic wastewater include:1Neutralization treatment with lime water;2Add sodium hydroxide to the wastewater(NaOH)Or sodium carbonate(Na2CO3);3Using waste alkali water and;4Add calcium carbide slag, alkali slag, etc. From an economic and cost saving perspective, it is best to neutralize acidic wastewater with alkaline wastewater and waste alkali residue to achieve the goal of treating waste with waste. Lime water and soda ash are also relatively inexpensive, while caustic soda or soda ash are more expensive.
Generally, for weakly acidic wastewater, the neutralization time is relatively long, and alkali should be selected appropriately; At the same time, attention should be paid to neutralization, as some may produce sediment, and the treatment of sediment should also be considered at this time. Sometimes, appropriate equipment needs to be equipped according to the method of acid-base neutralization, such as the neutralization of waste acid-base. Often, due to the balance between the two quantities, it is necessary to consider whether to build a neutralization tank. When selecting lime neutralization, dry and wet feeding devices should be considered. When selecting limestone, marble, dolomite and other materials for filtration and neutralization, a filtration tank should also be set up. The effluent from the neutralization tank must meet the discharge standardsPHfor6-9.
IIAlkaline wastewater treatment
The commonly used methods for neutralizing alkaline wastewater include:1Add acid or acidic wastewater;2Add carbon dioxide(CO); 3Passing waste flue gas (exhaust gas) through alkaline wastewaterCOUtilize). From an economic and waste to waste perspective, the first consideration is the reuse of waste acid and the utilization of waste flue gas. Neutralizing alkaline wastewater with waste acid mostly uses sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid, with very little use of nitric acid. Sulfuric acid has a relatively low price and is commonly used, while hydrochloric acid has a higher price but higher solubility of reactants and less sediment. Proper equipment should be used for neutralization, and attention should be paid to the use of flue gas to discharge water that may contain pollutants such as sulfides that still need further treatment.
The treatment of acidic and alkaline wastewater mentioned earlier simply adjusts the pH of the wastewater to 6-9, which meets the discharge standards. If we want to treat wastewater to meet all the discharge standards, we need to design a targeted sewage treatment plan based on the type of wastewater and the pollutant components in the water. Through various processes combined treatment, we can ultimately treat the wastewater to meet the discharge standards.
