When designing integrated pumping stations, if we use traditional concrete pumping stations, we often encounter problems such as long construction periods and high investment costs, which require the pumping station to occupy less land while meeting the needs of phased construction. Excavation of pump pit:

The excavation method of the pump well (taking into account the stability of the slope, possible drainage methods, etc.) should be suitable for the current soil environment. A small water collection well can be made at the edge of the pit bottom, which can be used at any time to ensure the surface of the pit bottom is covered with ice. Excavation must be carried out according to the design drawings, and an excavation plan must be formulated. During excavation, close attention should be paid to the safety of the foundation pit. The bottom of the pump pit must be dry and free of water. If there is any, appropriate precipitation measures must be taken. Adopt appropriate excavation protection methods to avoid damaging the excavation site? The bottom of the pit should be excavated flat. If necessary, a layer of stone free gravel should be laid and compacted with a compactor to achieve a compaction degree of 90% according to the compaction test results. After the excavation of the pump pit is completed, the installation of the pump station can only be carried out after confirming that the on-site conditions such as the inlet and outlet water pipe connections and the electrical relay are met.

(1) Construct according to the plane position, elevation, and geometric dimensions designed on the drawings;

(2) Extend the foundation pit control pile 2 meters outside the foundation pit and fix it;

(3) Good drainage should be maintained during excavation of the foundation pit, and 7 cakes should be set up outside the pit to facilitate the formation of ice on the foundation;

(4) Use an excavator to excavate to the middle sand layer, remove the upper fill soil, and then backfill with coarse sand to the base elevation.

Bottom preparation:

Flatten the bottom of the well, sand it and compact it. If necessary, lay a layer of stone free gravel layer and compact it with a compactor to achieve a compaction degree of 90% according to the compaction test results. If it is a sensitive foundation, special care must be taken when performing compaction operations. Inspect and confirm that the surface is flat, uniform, and consistent.

Template processing and installation:

The template adopts the Xibu processing template. The thickness, length, and horizontal and vertical ribs of the template are determined based on the size, length, and number of template carvings of the guardrail. The adjacent templates are connected by bolts according to the design drawings and measurements, and the overlapping parts of the templates are sealed with sponge double-sided tape strips. The contact surface between the template and the concrete must be polished smooth to a bright color, and then evenly coated with release agent. The template size must first undergo self inspection by the quality inspector, and then be reported to the supervisor for inspection. Only after passing the inspection can the next step be carried out.

Concrete shall not be concentrated in one place to prevent the formation of undulating interfaces. The pouring time shall not exceed the initial setting time of the concrete, and the distance between the vibrating rod and the side touch shall be maintained at 5-10cm. It is strictly prohibited for the vibrating rod to directly contact the formwork. Each vibration must be carried out until the concrete stops sinking, there are no bubbles in the net, and the surface appears flat and bleeding before the vibration rod can be removed.

Backfilling precautions:

(1) The backfill underground should be tightly compacted, otherwise it will cause stress on the inlet and outlet pipelines, and the internal pipeline tension of the pump station will act on the external pipelines.

(2) When starting backfilling, materials such as sand and gravel cannot be introduced into the tank.

(3) If the cement base is uneven, the pump station will tilt, causing the tank to rupture or leak.

(4) Larger stones falling into the backfill pit can damage the tank if the milk is on the tank wall of the recording station.

(5) The excavation plan is very important, otherwise it may lead to incorrect operations during the excavation work, resulting in the displacement of the cement floor after installation and damage to the pump station. If the plan is not careful during backfilling, groundwater will breed, which may cause the pump station to move up.
