Anhui Wanlong Electric Integrated Vibration Transmitter is a vibration transmitter that integrates vibration sensors and signal conditioning circuits. It can directly convert the vibration signals collected on site into 4-20mA current signals for output. The output signal can be directly transmitted to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS) monitors, collectors, recorders, or other monitoring devices.
This product adopts electronic components and utilizes surface mount technology, which makes the product structure compact, greatly reduces weight and volume, and lowers power consumption. At the same time, due to the integration of sensors and processing circuits, long-distance signal transmission is avoided, thereby improving anti-interference performance.
The three parameters (units) we usually use to describe vibration are vibration displacement value (um), vibration velocity value (mm/s), and vibration acceleration value (g). In practical applications, we usually choose them based on the purpose of monitoring. The following will introduce the selection of three vibration parameters (units):
1. Vibration displacement value
If it is necessary to pay attention to the damage caused by the position or deformation of equipment components, the peak value (or peak to peak value) of vibration displacement should be selected, because the peak value reflects the limit value of position change;
2. Vibration acceleration value
If the focus is on the impact caused by inertial forces, acceleration should be chosen because acceleration is proportional to inertia;
3. Vibration velocity value
If the focus is on the fatigue failure of the component, the root mean square value of the vibration velocity should be selected, because the fatigue life mainly depends on the deformation energy of the component and the cyclic velocity of the load, and the root mean square value of the vibration velocity is precisely their reflection.
The vibration of rotating machinery can be divided into three categories according to the nature of mechanical vibration:
1、 Forced vibration
Forced vibration, also known as synchronous vibration, is a vibration caused by sustained periodic external excitation forces. Forced vibration continuously obtains energy from the outside to compensate for the energy consumed by damping, so that the system always maintains continuous equal amplitude vibration. The vibration, in turn, does not affect the disturbance force. The main causes of forced vibration include rotor mass imbalance, misalignment of couplings, static friction of rotors, loosening of mechanical components, and damage to rotor components or bearings. The characteristic frequency of forced vibration is always equal to the frequency of the disturbance force. For example, the forced vibration caused by rotor mass imbalance has a vibration frequency that is always equal to the speed frequency.
2、 Self-excited vibration
The vibration caused by the alternating force generated by the internal motion of the machine during operation is called self-excited vibration. Once the vibration stops, the alternating force naturally disappears; The self-excited vibration frequency refers to the natural frequency (or critical frequency) of the machine, which is independent of the frequency of external excitation. Common self-excited vibrations in rotating machinery include oil film vortex and oil film oscillation. It is mainly caused by the internal resistance of the rotor and dry friction between the moving and stationary components. Compared with forced vibration, self-excited vibration appears more suddenly and has a more severe intensity, which can cause serious damage to the machine in a short period of time.
3、 Unsteady forced vibration
Unsteady forced vibration is a type of forced vibration caused by external disturbance forces. Its characteristic is that it has the same frequency as the disturbance force; The vibration itself, in turn, will affect the magnitude and phase of the disturbance force; The amplitude and phase of vibration vary. For example, if there is uneven thermal deformation in a certain part of the rotor shaft, it is equivalent to adding unbalanced mass to the rotor, which will cause changes in the amplitude and phase of the vibration. Conversely, changes in vibration amplitude and phase affect the size and location of uneven thermal deformation, resulting in continuous changes in forced vibration.
