Techniques and methods for calibration and verification of pressure transmitters:
Firstly, we must select the corresponding pressure source based on different ranges and types of pressure transmitters, and then choose the corresponding pressure calibrator or precision digital pressure gauge based on the verified pressure transmitter. For pressure transmitters with small range or oil prohibition requirements, pneumatic pressure calibration stations can be selected. For pressure transmitters with large range or oil prohibition requirements, hydraulic pressure calibration stations should be selected. If the range is large and there are no other requirements, hydraulic pressure calibration stations can be selected. The standard gauge can choose the MY-YBS-WB digital pressure calibrator, which can be used with multiple modules on one machine. Choose the appropriate range of pressure module based on the pressure transmitter to be calibrated; Either choose the MY-YBS-C precision digital pressure gauge and use an appropriate range as a standard.
After selecting the equipment, connect the standard gauge to the calibrated pressure transmitter and pressure calibration station, and start pressurizing. According to the range of the pressure transmitter with inspection, take 5-10 points and gradually increase the pressure to the calibration pressure point. Compare the pressure transmitter with a standard gauge as a reference. If there is a deviation, it is necessary to adjust the pressure transmitter with a handheld device or through the instrument menu button.
While comparing and adjusting the pressure values, it is necessary to calibrate the 4-20mA current output of the pressure transmitter. At zero position, check whether the output signal of the pressure transmitter is 4mA; at 1/2 of full range, whether the corresponding output is 12mA; at full range, whether the corresponding output is 20mA.
In this way, the entire calibration process and method for pressure transmitters can be completed. After mastering the entire process correctly, appropriate equipment can be selected to calibrate all pressure transmitters that have been used online for too long, greatly improving measurement reliability.
