Introduction: KCB type gear pump is mainly composed of gears, shafts, pump bodies, safety valves, and shaft end seals. Gears have high hardness and strength after heat treatment, and are installed together with the shaft in a replaceable shaft sleeve for operation. The lubrication of all parts inside the pump is automatically achieved through the use of the output medium during pump operation.
● Purpose
KCB type gear pump is suitable for conveying lubricating oil or other liquids with properties similar to lubricating oil that do not contain solid particles and fibers, are non corrosive, have a temperature not higher than 80 ℃, and a viscosity of 5 × 10-6~1.5 × 10-3m2/s (5-1500cSt).
● Structural characteristics
This series of gear pumps mainly consists of gears, shafts, pump bodies, safety valves, and shaft end seals. Gears have high hardness and strength after heat treatment, and are installed together with the shaft in a replaceable shaft sleeve for operation. The lubrication of all parts inside the pump is automatically achieved through the use of the output medium during pump operation. There are well-designed oil discharge and return grooves inside the pump, which minimize the torque force that the gears bear during operation, resulting in low bearing load, minimal wear, and high pump efficiency.
The pump is equipped with a safety valve as overload protection, and the full reflux pressure of the safety valve is 1.5 times the rated discharge pressure of the pump. It can also be adjusted according to actual needs within the allowable discharge pressure range. However, please note that this safety valve cannot be used for long-term operation as a pressure reducing valve. If necessary, it can be installed separately on the pipeline. When viewed from the extended end of the main shaft towards the pump, it rotates clockwise. The performance parameters of various types of gear pumps are determined at a medium viscosity of 4 × 10-3m2/s (40cSt). The parameter values given in the performance parameter table are applicable to the viscosity range of the medium from 1 × 10-5 to 8 × 10-5m2/s (10~80cSt). If it exceeds this range, it will be determined separately according to the performance parameter requirements proposed by the user. The discharge pressure given in the performance parameters of each type of gear pump is the maximum working pressure value, within which the pump can operate normally. The working range is shown in Figure 1. The KCB series gear oil pump consists of pump body, front and rear pump covers, gears, active and passive shafts, bearings, safety valves, and shaft end seals. ● Scope of application
This type of gear oil pump is suitable for conveying media with viscosity not exceeding 150mm2/S, temperature not exceeding 120 ° C, non corrosive, and free of hard particle impurities and fibers such as heavy oil, diesel, mechanical oil, vegetable oil, and other liquids with similar properties.
This type of gear oil pump is mainly used for the transfer, boosting, fuel injection, and other applications of oil media in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, mining, and power stations, as well as in the circulation of thin oil in large mechanical equipment. It can be used as a lubrication pump in various types of mechanical equipment.
