Metal graphite composite gasket, also known as flexible graphite metal reinforced composite gasket or high-strength graphite gasket, is a sealing gasket made by laminating punched metal tooth plates or punched metal core plates with flexible graphite particles. It is usually cut from flexible graphite composite reinforced plates.

Flexible graphite reinforced composite gaskets are precision cut from flexible graphite reinforced composite plates. The gasket is easy to manufacture, easy to install and use, and has excellent sealing performance. It is suitable for media such as hot water, high temperature, high pressure steam, hydrogen, ammonia, solvents, hydrocarbons, and ultra-low temperature liquids.

Suitable for sealing various pipelines, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, condensers, pressure vessels, tower manholes, hand hole flange connections, and sealing gaskets for water level gauges, liquid level gauges, crystallizers, etc

It has good corrosion resistance, high/low temperature resistance, radiation resistance, good compression resilience and high strength. The required pre tightening force is smaller than that of metal gaskets and metal wrapped gaskets, and the requirements for flange surfaces are not high. It is a relatively economical and practical gasket. If the edge wrapping form is adopted, the excellent performance of the original graphite composite gasket can be maintained, and it is easy to install and disassemble, not easy to damage, and can also prevent the corrosion of the gasket by the medium and oxygen in the external air, improving the temperature and pressure resistance.

The structural types of graphite composite gaskets are divided into RF type, MFM type, and TG type, which are suitable for flanges with protruding, concave convex, and mortise and tenon surfaces, respectively. According to the needs, RF type gaskets can be equipped with stainless steel or carbon steel inner edges, which is the RF-E type.
