Oslo cooling crystallizer

Scope of application:

Oslo cooling crystallizer is suitable for low-temperature (or frozen) crystallization of products with good crystal particles and low viscosity of mother liquor, such as ammonium chloride, sulfate, nitrate, persulfate, carbonate, oxalate, etc.

Product Features:

1. OSLO crystallizers with grading function are commonly used to produce products with desired larger particles. Crystals are fluidized and suspended in supersaturated liquid flow, providing excellent flow field conditions for crystal growth.

2. The supersaturation of the system occurs in the external heat exchanger, and the crystal growth area is located at the lower part of the crystallizer. The supersaturated liquid is sent to the bottom of the crystallizer and passes through the crystal bed during its ascent, gradually eliminating supersaturation and allowing the crystals to grow.

3. Usually we design it as a crystallizer with a large diameter clarification area. The solution after eliminating supersaturation is clarified before being pumped away to obtain new supersaturation. Its advantage lies in the low content of crystal particles in the circulating mother liquor, which reduces the contact probability between the pump impeller and the grains, lowers the rate of secondary nucleation, and provides necessary conditions for cultivating large particle crystals.
