pantherHelium detector Instrument description:
lPantherMainly used for detecting gas leaks, it can detect gases to varying degrees.
lPantherUsing thermal conductivity as a means of detecting gases, this sensor technology is stable and effective, requiring almost no maintenance except for annual maintenance.
lPantherAndPanther PROAll have easy-to-use graphical interfaces and intuitive keyboards, enabling simple function selection and adjustment.
lPantherUsing colorLCDDisplay screenLEDIndicator lights and sound prompts can display detected signals.
pantherHelium detector Application Scenario:
•Quality Assurance-Test the sealing integrity after product production
•Laboratory applications-Detecting leaks in mass spectrometer and chromatograph equipment
•Industrial-Leakage of gas cylinders, pipeline engineering, and process equipment
•Medical treatment-Test the sealing of membrane materials and glove boxes
•Pneumatic-Valve sealing test
PantherAccording to5 E-4 cc/sCalibrate the helium leakage rate for volumetric reading and use5000ppmCalibrate the helium gas for concentration measurement.
Optional units:
cc/seccubic centimeter/The second reading represents the volume of gas that escapes into the atmosphere from a point, i.e. leaks from a hole in a gas filled container or pipeline.
ppmEach million parts is a concentration reading.PantherIt will display the concentration of the gas being detected, but measuring the leakage amount is difficult.
mg/m3Milligrams per cubic meter is also a unit for measuring concentration. (Seeppm)
g/yrEvery year is another way to measure the leakage rate.
%VolThis unit measures the proportion of target gases in the environment.
operation mode:
thermal conductivity
All gases conduct heat, but their thermal conductivity varies. If an object is heated and the heat source is removed, the object will eventually cool to the same temperature as the ambient air. This is because the ambient air around the object carries excess heat into the surrounding atmosphere.
This principle also applies to objects that are colder than the surrounding air.
The loss of heat in the air is known and the rate is predictable. However, if the ambient air is replaced with other gases such as helium, the cooling rate of the object will change.
If the environment of the above-mentioned object is replaced with pure helium gas, the speed of its cooling channel environment temperature is approximately the same as that in air 6 Twice.
PantherContains a heated thermistor bead that transfers heat to the sensing chamber. On the other side of the sensing chamber, there is a material that maintains a constant temperature, which helps stabilize the signal. When air passes through the detection chamber, constant heat is transferred from the resistance beads to the air. Gases different from air can affect the speed of heat transfer, and these rates of change are measured and displayed as leakage rates.
PanthersThermal conductivity sensor
A piezoelectric pump attracts a small stream of gas through the probe and into the sensing chamber. Apply electricity to the thermistor beads to raise their temperature. When air passes through the detection chamber, a constant level of heat is transferred to the air. The rate of heat transfer is used to control the instrument 'zero adjustment'.
When gases with different thermal properties pass through a cavity, the amount of heat transferred will change. These changes have been measured and used for calculation PantherThe display reading of the leakage rate or gas concentration on.
