1Principle of manual diaphragm pump

A manual diaphragm pump is used for low head and low flow water lifting operations, consisting of a pump body, inlet and outlet pipes, inlet and outlet valves, diaphragm, and push-pull rod. The pump body can be composed of one or two pump chambers. A diaphragm pump with two pump chambers, with the diaphragm located in the center of the pump body or two separate diaphragms installed on the outside of the two separated pump chambers. During work, the handwheel connected to the diaphragm is manually operated by a person to push the diaphragm in and out of reciprocating motion, causing the volumes of the two pump chambers to alternate between expansion and contraction. When the pump chamber expands, the pressure decreases, the inlet valve opens and the outlet valve closes, and water flows into the pump chamber from the inlet pipe; When the pump chamber shrinks, the pressure increases, the inlet valve closes, the outlet valve opens, and the water in the pump chamber flows out from the drainage pipe. The two pump chambers alternate between suction and discharge, and can lift water every hour0～20Ton.

2、 Characteristics of manual diaphragm pump

Manual diaphragm pumps can not only pump flowing liquids, but also transport some media that are not easy to flow. They have many advantages over conveying machinery such as self-priming pumps, shielded pumps, mud pumps, and impurity pumps.
