Polypropylene graphite falling film absorber
Polypropylene graphite falling film absorber
Product Introduction
Graphite modified polypropylene membrane absorber is a new type of absorber developed recently in China. This absorber belongs to the wet wall surface absorption device. It consists of three parts: liquid film section, absorption cooling section, and gas-liquid separation section.
During the operation of this equipment, the absorbent is vertically distributed in a thin film along the inner tube through a membrane distributor. The gas flows from top to bottom (parallel flow) or from bottom to top (counter flow) through the inner tube space, and the gas-liquid phase undergoes mass transfer reaction on the flowing liquid film. Cooling water (agent) is introduced outside the tube to remove the heat released during the absorption process. Due to its superior performance compared to graphite falling film absorbers, it has widely replaced graphite falling film absorbers.
Purpose of pipe mouth: a. Gas inlet b. Finished product outlet c. Absorption liquid inlet d. Gas outlet e. Cooling water inlet f. Cooling water outlet g. Cleaning and drainage outlet
Performance characteristics:
1. Small size and light weight: convenient for equipment transportation, installation, and maintenance.
2. High temperature resistance: The operating temperature can reach 125 degrees Celsius, with an operating temperature of -10 degrees Celsius.
3. It has non-toxic and non scaling properties, and does not cause pollution to the medium.
4. Excellent corrosion resistance, good film-forming performance on the inner wall of the tube, good cooling effect, high absorption rate, and high production capacity, among other comprehensive properties.
5. Long service life, with a maximum of over eight years.
6. The cost is 50% -70% of similar products, greatly reducing the production cost of the enterprise.
Usage pressure: Positive pressure: Both shell side and tube side should be ≤ 0.3mpa
Negative pressure: Both shell side and tube side should be ≤ 0.1mpa
Factory test water pressure: 0.45mpa
Scope of application:
Used in industries such as chemical, oil, pharmaceutical, food, oil and fat, printing and dyeing, metallurgy, environmental protection, and light industry for absorbing corrosive gases that release heat during mixing. It can also be used for the absorption of gases such as H2, S, SO2, NH3, etc., and the resulting product concentration is 5% higher than adiabatic absorption
Absorption capacity:
This equipment must be used in conjunction with a water jet vacuum machine rental. The absorption rate can reach around 98%. If a three-stage series is used, with the first two stages being a falling film absorber and the third stage being a packed absorption tower, 100% absorption can be achieved. When the absorbed material requires a high concentration, a single cycle absorption method (with adjustable absorption liquid flow rate) can be used, with repeated cycles.
Absorbent dosage:
Depending on the concentration of the recovered gas, taking the absorption of HCI by a 10m2 absorber as an example, the dosage is generally 10-20m3/h. To improve the absorption efficiency, the temperature of the bottom absorbent should be lowered as much as possible. The amount of cooling water (agent) used can be determined based on the heat balance of the operating process conditions. Increasing the amount of cooling water and lowering the water temperature are beneficial for improving absorption efficiency. *The cooling water temperature is less than 20 degrees.
The productivity of this absorber can be adjusted over a large range, with stable performance and easy operation. For example, when two 10m2 membrane absorbers are used in series, 10-20 tons of 31 degree hydrochloric acid can be obtained in one day (24 hours).
Operation: The absorbent and the absorbed gas can be operated in reverse flow. The rising fluid during counter current operation causes an increase in the thickness of the liquid film and a decrease in the flow velocity of the liquid film. Generally, when the gas flow velocity inside the pipe is 5-10m/s, the phenomenon of overflow occurs. When gas flows from top to bottom during parallel flow operation, the thickness of the liquid film will decrease and the flow velocity of the liquid film will increase. Under the same gas flow velocity, the fluid resistance during parallel flow is much smaller than that during counter flow. The gas velocity during parallel flow can reach 15-30m/s, but the absorption driving force is smaller than that during reverse flow, so parallel flow operation is mostly used in current production.
1. Due to the material of this equipment being PP plastic, which is relatively brittle, it is strictly prohibited to engage in behaviors that may damage the equipment during transportation, such as collision or squeezing at noon. When loading and unloading goods, handle them with care; Slowly tighten the bolts during installation to avoid damaging the equipment.
2. Avoid contact with open flames.
3. The equipment installation must be kept vertical, and the downstream weir of the absorbing liquid in the liquid film distribution section should be adjusted to a horizontal state using a balanced method. Ensure that the absorption liquid is evenly coated inside the tube.
4. It is recommended to install a high-level groove about 1 meter above the mouth when absorbing the liquid, to promote natural flow of the absorbing liquid under normal pressure and facilitate uniform distribution of the absorbing liquid.
5. When driving, the cooling water should be introduced first, and then the absorbent and the required gas should be introduced after the cooling water is filled. Cooling water should flow in from bottom to top.
6. The temperature of the cooling water should be lowered as much as possible to improve the absorption effect. *The cooling water temperature is less than 20 degrees.
