Portable humidity analysis solution
MEECO's WATERBOY 2 provides an economical and reliable portable humidity analysis solution, which has been proven through long-term practice in the electrolysis process. The characteristic of this analyzer is its microprocessor driven electronic circuit.
The three key interface of WATERBOY 2 makes changing display modes simple and easy. Now, with just one button, you can choose any of the five display modes. Its modular design and sturdy construction can adapt well to the on-site environment.
WATERBOY 2 is equipped with a built-in 24V DC rechargeable lead-acid battery and a 110V AC transformer. In addition, you can also use the RS-232 interface to transmit data to printers, computers, or other control devices.
Working principle
According to Faraday's law of electrolysis, the sensor of WATERBOY 2 can absorb and electrolyze moisture with a concentration of less than one millionth (ppm).
The method is as follows: all sample moisture is absorbed by a hygroscopic film covering two spiral electrodes, which are placed in an empty glass tube. When the sample gas enters the electrolysis at a known flow rate, the pentoxide diphosphate (PzOs) film will absorb all moisture molecules.
After applying voltage to the electrode, every water molecule is electrolyzed, resulting in a limited current. This current is precise and proportional to the absorbed molecular weight of water.

Electronic circuits with microprocessors can achieve multiple display modes, including ppmV, ppmW, Ibs/mmscf, or dew points in Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Three button user interface: mode/confirm keys and simple up and down keys make menu operation shortcuts convenient.
LCD display: The integrated digital display can directly display data on site and set control parameters on site. It also includes a low battery warning light.
Adjustable output: The output range can be flexibly changed on site without the need to replace electronic components. Simply operate the menu through the mode/confirm button to select the output range.
Online verification: Use a simple Delta process to conveniently check the working condition of the electrolytic cell and verify the linearity and performance of the sensor online.
