Pressure Swing Adsorption Separation of Carbon Monoxide Equipment (PSA-CO)

The use of pressure swing adsorption technology to separate carbon monoxide is an emerging technology in recent years. The highly efficient adsorbent PU-1 developed by Peking University has excellent adsorption capacity and selectivity for carbon monoxide, and has been used in China, the United States, and Canada. Based on the characteristics of this adsorbent, Peking University Pioneer has successfully developed a new technology for pressure swing adsorption separation of carbon monoxide, which is high-level, efficient, and low consumption. It has solved the problem of separating high-purity carbon monoxide from feed gases with high nitrogen or methane content. Multiple large-scale carbon monoxide separation devices have been designed and built, bringing huge economic benefits to users and receiving high praise. This technology was awarded the "Science and Technology Progress of Chinese Higher Education Institutions" in 2005 and won the second prize of National Science and Technology Invention Award in 2006.


Performance indicators of pressure swing adsorption carbon monoxide separation equipment (PSA-CO):

1) Product scale: 10-30000Nm3/h

2) Product purity: Normal design value ≥ 98.5%, purity can be flexibly adjusted, and the highest can reach 99.99%

3) Carbon monoxide yield: When the purity is 98.5%, the yield is 75-95%

4) Device consumption: When the product output and purity are the same, the energy consumption is more than 30% lower than other domestic pressure swing adsorption processes, and the amount of raw gas used is saved by more than 50%


Technical features and advantages:

By using the efficient carbon monoxide adsorbent PU-1, high-purity carbon monoxide can be separated from feed gases with high nitrogen or methane content.
