Phenolic resin (fiberglass) products have good corrosion resistance to non oxidizing acids (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, etc.), salt solutions, and water, but are not resistant to corrosion from alkali and oxidizing acids (nitric acid, chromic acid, etc.).
