Overview
The secondary dust removal injection pressure of the converter is low, reaching the pressure required for dust cleaning intensity. This is due to the use of a straight through fast pulse valve with low pressure loss and quick opening and closing, as well as a well-designed spray pipe, which can deliver sufficient cleaning airflow to the filter bag in a short time, thus achieving better cleaning effect with low pressure and the same pressure air consumption. Due to the low injection pressure, pipeline pressure can be used without the need for a dedicated air compressor.
Product Details
The converter dust collector in a steel plant is used to treat the flue gas generated during converter steelmaking in three stages. The secondary dust collector mainly collects the flue gas from oxygen blowing during steelmaking and recovers the converter gas. The secondary dust collector mainly collects the flue gas from the converter during iron mixing, scrap steel addition, and slag removal. The tertiary dust collector mainly collects the smoke and dust that escapes to the roof through the converter span and high-rise frame. In addition, it also controls multiple dust points such as converter slag treatment, ladle intermediate lining repair, converter furnace repair, and auxiliary material loading and unloading dust removal.
Secondary dust removal of converterIn fact, the secondary and tertiary dust removal of the converter is a relatively simple combination of gravity dust removal and bag dust removal. His air inlet is usually surrounded by the flue and connected to the dust removal equipment through pipelines. Simply put, secondary and tertiary dust removal are environmental measures taken to compensate for the shortcomings of secondary dust removal.
Industrial waste gas containing dust or generated from mechanical processes such as crushing, screening, conveying, and blasting of solid materials, or from processes such as combustion, high-temperature melting, and chemical reactions. The former contains dust with larger particle size and chemical composition similar to the original solid material, while the latter contains smoke particles with smaller particle size and chemical properties different from the substances that generate them. Improving production processes and combustion techniques can reduce the generation of particulate matter. Dust collectors are widely used to control the generated dust and smoke.
Secondary dust removal of converterThe blowing pressure is low, reaching the pressure required for dust cleaning strength.
The programmable controller that can be used for control has three control modes: differential pressure, timing, and manual. It can achieve comprehensive system control of offline valves, pulse valves, ash discharge valves, etc. of the dust collector, without the need for operators on site, realizing unmanned operation of the dust removal system.

Pulse jet cleaning is controlled by a pulse controller to open and close the pulse valve. When the pulse valve is opened, the compressed air in the air bag passes through the small hole on the spray pipe of the pulse valve and sprays a high-speed and high-pressure jet airflow towards the filter bag mouth, forming an induced airflow equivalent to several times the volume of the jet airflow, which enters the filter bag and causes instantaneous positive pressure and rapid expansion inside the filter bag; The dust deposited on the outside of the filter bag falls off and falls into the ash hopper, achieving the purpose of cleaning. The design technique of using bag filter for secondary flue gas dust removal is adopted as an environmental protection measure to compensate for the shortcomings of primary dust removal
