The xLS series shaftless screw conveyor is used in sewage treatment plants to transport materials such as cleaning machine slag and filter press mud cake with a net distance of 50mm between the fine grid bars.
Product Features:
1. Good environmental performance. The use of fully enclosed and easy to clean spiral surfaces ensures that the conveyed material is not contaminated and will not leak during transportation.
2. The conveying capacity is large, which is 1.5 times that of a screw conveyor with a shaft of the same diameter.
3. Large turning distance, low energy consumption, and unobstructed discharge port.
4. Long conveying distance, single machine conveying length can reach 60-70m.
5. Compact structure, space saving, beautiful appearance, easy operation, economical and durable.

The appropriate selection of the tilt angle value for the shaftless screw conveyor depends on the specifications of the screw conveyor, and the material being conveyed is also related to the angle of the screw conveyor.
When using spiral conveying equipment to horizontally transport materials, the material is pushed by the spiral blades. When the internal friction between the material layers is greater than the external friction between the material and the groove wall, it moves forward with the spiral blades. When the ratio of the height of the material layer to the width of the groove meets the conditions, the material flow is stable. When vertically conveying materials, it relies on the arching characteristics of the materials. The materials in the machine slot are pushed by the spiral blades in the direction of motion, and the lower part continuously feeds to prevent the upper material from sliding down, generating lateral pressure and increasing the internal friction force of the materials. When the internal friction force between the materials is greater than the external friction force between the materials and the slot wall, as well as the self weight of the materials, the materials are conveyed upward with the spiral blades, forming a continuous material flow. Due to the vibration of the spiral during movement, the arch of the material may be damaged and then formed, causing a hysteresis phenomenon in the gap of the spiral during the conveying process, which affects the conveying capacity.
The same materials are used with shafts, without shafts, U-shaped, etc. Spiral conveyors with the same speed ratio and model have different conveying capacities. Moreover, if there is a tilt angle, the conveying capacity will be even different because the spiral conveying equipment has a tilt angle and the material will reflux, resulting in different conveying capacities.
Under the same material and angle conditions, the screw conveyor with a shaft (ordinary type) has a larger conveying capacity, while the U-shaped screw conveyor without a shaft has a smaller conveying capacity.
The ideal inclination angle for ordinary spiral conveying equipment is 45 °, while the inclination angle for shaftless spiral conveying equipment is 30 °, and the inclination angle for U-shaped spiral conveying equipment is 20 ° -30 °.
Attention: The larger the angle of the screw conveyor, the lower the conveying capacity of the screw conveyor with the same speed ratio and model.
The placement arrangement of shaftless screw conveyors is generally horizontal or inclined, but the inclination angle should not be too large, generally not exceeding 25 degrees. Mainly limited by the design of the equipment itself and the characteristics of the materials. When placing, it can be installed on a platform and docked with other equipment as needed to complete the production process. It is also possible to design a placement platform on the ground to fix the equipment and prevent shaking during use.
Reasons and solutions for blade damage
1. The blade is too thin, and due to the lack of an intermediate shaft, all force points are on the blade. Therefore, the thickness of the blade has a very important impact on the actual use of the equipment. Choosing a spiral blade with an appropriate thickness directly affects its effectiveness.
2. The blade wheelbase is too small, and the selection of spiral pipe diameter is inappropriate. When conveying powder or sheet materials, the small wheelbase of the blades often causes excessive extrusion force, directly damaging the blades. As the shaft rotates, even thicker blades will suffer a certain amount of damage. Another reason is that the pipe diameter is small, which can also cause excessive pressure. Causing severe damage to the leaves. After taking the above two measures, the blade speed can be reduced at the same time. To achieve this effect.
