4. Uniform water distribution and backwashing: The water cap is evenly distributed, the water distribution is uniform, the backwashing efficiency is high, the backwashing time is short, and the backwashing water is used less.
5. Easy installation: The tank body is designed to be lifted without the need for lifting equipment, with a small footprint. The arrangement of filtration units can be flexibly arranged according to the actual land use situation.
Attention should be paid to the following points during installation and use:
1. Choose a suitable installation location: Shallow sand filters usually need to be placed on the ground, and a dry, flat, and solid foundation should be chosen to avoid the filter sinking or moving. At the same time, it is necessary to consider the location of the inlet and outlet pipelines of the equipment, as well as the convenience of future maintenance and cleaning.
2. Installation of sand layer: Before installing the sand layer, it is necessary to clean the inside of the filter to prevent impurities and dirt from entering the sand layer. The thickness of the sand layer is generally 0.6-1.5 meters, and the choice of thickness should be determined based on factors such as the design parameters of the filter and the quality of the water source. When installing the sand layer, it is necessary to add quartz sand layer by layer and rinse the sand layer with water to remove impurities and dust from the sand layer.
3. Start up and operation: After installing the sand layer, it is necessary to rinse it with water for a period of time to remove fine particles and impurities from the sand layer, in order to avoid affecting the subsequent filtration effect. Then start the device, pass the water source that needs to be filtered into the filter, and begin the filtering process. During the filtration process, it is necessary to regularly check the operation of the equipment and clean and maintain the sand layer to ensure the filtration effect and normal operation of the equipment.
4. Replacing the sand layer: The sand layer will gradually fail over time and generally needs to be replaced every once in a while. The specific replacement time needs to be determined based on the actual situation and frequency of use. When replacing the sand layer, it is necessary to first clean the original sand layer and gradually add the new sand layer to the filter layer by layer.
