Slaughtering and breeding wastewater treatment equipment

Slaughter wastewater comes from washing and rinsing of enclosures, washing of floors, scalding, dissection, processing of side dishes, washing oil, etc. It has the characteristics of large water volume, uneven water distribution, high concentration, impurities and suspended solids, and good biodegradability.

The two main methods for pre-treatment of general slaughter wastewater are flotation and sieving (with a filtration aperture of 1-5mm). Floatation is mainly used in treatment stations with small wastewater volumes, and its disadvantages are complex equipment, difficult management, high efficiency, and poor hygiene conditions; Screening is mainly used for the pretreatment of slaughter wastewater with a large amount of wastewater, which is easy to manage. The organic substances in slaughter wastewater are mainly proteins and fats, which belong to large molecule long-chain organic substances and are difficult to be directly utilized by general aerobic bacteria. In its biodegradation process, it is generally decomposed into small molecule organic substances such as amino acids and carbohydrates by enzymes before being directly utilized by aerobic bacteria. Therefore, the setting of acidification and hydrolysis processes in slaughterhouse wastewater treatment equipment is very necessary.

There are many processes for treating slaughterhouse wastewater, including natural ecological treatment, biological treatment, and chemical treatment. Each process has its own advantages and limitations. Therefore, slaughterhouse wastewater treatment equipment and processes should be designed based on the inlet water quality, treatment and discharge requirements, and comprehensive consideration and management factors. Attention should also be paid to the combination of different slaughterhouse wastewater treatment processes. For example, the main structure can adopt anaerobic and aerobic treatment, supplemented by natural ecological treatment, which can not only improve the effluent quality but also save energy and reduce costs. I currently mainly rely on small-scale slaughter wastewater treatment plants.Slaughtering and breeding wastewater treatment equipmentoperating procedure

1. The debugging personnel first need to open the inlet valve and outlet valve, start the equipment's inlet lifting pump, and transport the sewage from the regulating tank to the buried sewage treatment equipment.

2. For first-time use and debugging of equipment, when the water level reaches 1/2 of the height of the equipment, stop the water pump from entering the water, open the inlet valve of the fan, turn on the fan, slowly open the outlet valve of the fan, and expose it to the contact oxidation tank for 48 hours before starting the water inlet lifting pump to add sewage to 3/4 of the equipment, and then expose it to the tank for 24 hours.

3. Touch the filling material with your hand to see if it feels sticky, and observe the growth of microorganisms in the water until a layer of orange yellow biofilm grows on the filling material. Only then can the sewage be continuously transported to the equipment, and the water volume should gradually increase to the design water volume.

4. Regularly observe the growth of microorganisms in water, and if any abnormalities are found, promptly control the inflow amount and adjust it.

5. To observe the flow state of the secondary sedimentation tank, the water collection in the outlet weir must be uniform. Generally, mud must be collected every 24 hours. When mud is collected, the mud solenoid valve should be opened and the sludge in the buried sewage treatment equipment's secondary sedimentation tank should be lifted to the sludge tank by lifting.

6. The buried integrated sewage treatment equipment adds disinfectant to the disinfection tank as needed. The water from the secondary sedimentation tank passes through the disinfectant dosing tank, and the agent is partially dissolved to achieve disinfection. After the treated water is left in the clean water tank for about 0.5 hours, it meets the discharge requirements and can be released into the external water body.

7. After the equipment debugging is completed and normal, the system can enter. Switch the operation of the water pump and fan to the status on site. As the electric control cabinet uses PLC program, it has already been programmed before the equipment is released, so there is no need to set it up separately.

8. Users should periodically test the effluent quality according to the discharge requirements to ensure that the buried sewage treatment equipment is functioning properly.

The suspended solids and organic pollutants in slaughter wastewater consume a large amount of dissolved oxygen, causing water quality deterioration, death of aquatic animals, affecting water function, and even breeding bacteria and pathogens. In severe cases, it can even lead to disease transmission. These wastewater mainly come from washing equipment, washing processing sites, etc. The wastewater mainly contains blood cells, glycoproteins, plasma proteins, anticoagulants, suspended solids, etc.

The sewage from the slaughterhouse is treated with a grid (net) to remove hair, skin, floating slag, and large suspended particles from the sewage, and then flows automatically into the oil separation tank. After removing most of the oil and mud, it enters the regulating tank, where the water quality and quantity are adjusted and the subsequent treatment facilities operate normally. The suspended solids (SS) in the water are removed in advance, with a removal rate of over 90%. The effluent enters the integrated sewage treatment equipment and is discharged.
