Composition of non negative pressure water supply equipment

The entire equipment consists of a steady flow tank, vacuum suppressor, variable frequency speed control water pump unit, pressure sensor, variable frequency control cabinet, backflow preventer (optional), disinfection device (optional), small flow pressure holding tank (optional), etc. The inlet pipe from the municipal pipeline network is directly connected to the inlet of the stabilizing tank, and the outlet of the stabilizing tank is connected to the inlet pipe of the booster pump group through a disinfection device. The outlet pipe of the booster unit is connected to the user's water pipe and directly supplies water to the user's pipeline network.

Equipment Classification

At present, there are mainly two types of non negative pressure water supply equipment used in the market: steady flow tank type and regulating water tank type.

Stable flow tank type

The tank type non negative pressure water supply equipment is equipped with a pressure sealing tank in front of the water pump, and a steady flow compensator (also known as a "vacuum eliminator") is added inside or outside the tank. The water pump absorbs water through the steady flow tank, pressurizes it, and supplies it to the user. With the regulating effect of the steady flow compensator, the impact on the public water supply network is reduced. This method has no reserve water volume, and when the urban public water supply network is shut down, it is prone to water interruption.

Regulating water tank type

This method is equipped with an unpressurized regulating water tank and a steady flow compensator inside. Through an electronic control device, the water in the regulating water tank is circulated at least twice a day to ensure that the water quality remains unchanged. When the water volume and pressure conditions of the municipal pipeline network can meet the requirements of non negative pressure water supply, water can be directly taken from the municipal pipeline network; Otherwise, take water from the regulating water tank. This method has a certain reserve water capacity and can be used in areas with unstable water supply networks, but due to the presence of water tanks and maintenance manholes, regular cleaning and disinfection must still be carried out according to regulations.
