Stainless steel steam water separatorIt is an important accessory for effectively separating gas and water in steam pipelines and improving equipment dryness. When the mixture of gas and water enters the steam water separator, the water will automatically sink to the bottom of the separator and flow out through the lower water pipe. The gas will be discharged through the upper air hole, or the water or gas will be treated harmlessly. Depending on the purpose of the steam water separator, water or gas can be recycled to save resources. Widely used in gas-liquid separation devices in industries such as chemical, petroleum, tower manufacturing, and pressure vessels.
Due to the important role played by stainless steel steam water separators, their design should meet the following principle requirements and be tailored to local conditions to optimize the design.
1. It should be able to effectively avoid local load increase on the steam evaporation surface and steam space of the steam drum, so that steam can evenly penetrate the water surface without carrying water.

Stainless steel steam water separatorWorking Principle:
A large amount of steam containing water enters the steam water separator and moves downwards in a centrifugal inclined manner. The entrained water is separated due to the decrease in velocity. The separated liquid flows into the lower part and is discharged from the body through a drain valve, while the dry and clean steam is discharged from the outlet of the separator. Features: High separation efficiency (dryness can reach 99%), low pressure drop (about 0.5%); The structure is designed according to the pressure vessel specifications. The steam water separator is a pressure vessel structure made of carbon steel or stainless steel equipment. For steam containing air, an air outlet is designed on the upper part of the steam water separator.

Installation:
1. Installed on a horizontal pipeline with the drainage outlet facing vertically downwards. All calibers of separators are equipped with mounting brackets to reduce pipeline load, with two drilled holes on each bracket.
2. In order to ensure that the liquid in the separator is discharged as soon as possible, the discharge port must be connected to a suitable discharge valve or steam trap.
3. For situations where air is present in the air, it accumulates at the top of the separator. In this case, install a suitable vent valve at the vent port.
