Overview
Introduction to TZS Cave Detector: The elastic wave (sonar) reflection detection method uses elastic wave (sonar) detection equipment to emit elastic waves in the mud at the bottom of the pile. When the sonar encounters unfavorable geological bodies such as caves, dissolution cracks, and weak interlayers within a certain range of the pile base, it will generate reflection echoes. The detection equipment receives the reflection echoes and can analyze the situation of unfavorable geological bodies at the bottom of the pile based on the characteristics of the echoes. It is a mature underwater geophysical method.

TZS pile bottom karst cave detector

The pile bottom karst cave detector is an underwater geophysical method for detecting unfavorable geological bodies, which can be used for detecting karst, weak interlayers, and fracture zones. It evaluates the integrity and reliability of the bearing layer of the rock socketed pile foundation, and is an effective way to solve the two major problems of difficult and costly karst detection of building pile foundation surrounding rock.
According to the "Code for Investigation of Geotechnical Engineering", when large-diameter rock socketed piles are used during the construction investigation stage, specialized pile foundation investigation should be carried out at the pile position. The investigation points should be arranged pile by pile, and the depth of exploration should not be less than 3 times the pile diameter below the pile bottom and not less than 5 meters. At present, in engineering, the method of one pile, one hole or one pile with multiple holes is generally used for pile location survey. One pile, one hole drilling often overlooks the karst around the hole, and the cost and duration of one pile with multiple holes drilling survey are high. Sonar measurement method has obvious technical and economic advantages, including easy interpretation, high accuracy, obvious anomalies, strong resolution, short construction period, low instrument and equipment investment, and low detection costs.
