The principle of three-phase constant power electric heating cables is basically the same, but the difference is that single-phase strips use single-phase power supply, while three-phase constant power electric heating belts use three-phase triangular power supply. In addition to the characteristics of single-phase heating cables, three-phase strips are particularly suitable for tracing and temperature maintenance of long-distance and large-diameter pipelines, and can be used in explosive gas mixture T3 groups in Zone 1 and Zone 2 of factories.
Product Structure and Working Principle
Three parallel insulated copper stranded wires are used as the power bus, and heating wires are wrapped around the inner sheath insulation layer. The heating wires are connected to the power bus AB-BC-CA-AB at regular intervals (i.e. "heating cut length") in a repeated cycle, forming continuous parallel resistors between every two phases. When the busbar is powered by three-phase electricity, the parallel resistors generate heat simultaneously, thus forming a continuous three-phase heating belt.
