The electric furnace dust removal system mainly consists of an electric furnace dust hood, dust removal pipeline, electric butterfly valve, temperature control device, spark arrester, induced draft fan, chimney, and electrical control part. During the operation of the system, the smoke and dust generated during the melting, feeding, insulation, and spheroidization processes of the electric furnace are collected by a tornado dust hood or umbrella shaped dust hood and directed into the dust removal pipeline. The large particles of high-temperature substances or combustion sparks are then eliminated by a spark collector, and then enter the main body of the bag filter. The filtered clean gas enters the clean air box and is drawn by an induced draft fan and discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney.

The effectiveness of electric furnace flue gas capture depends to some extent on the structural form of the hood. If the design of the vacuum hood is reasonable, using a smaller exhaust volume can effectively control the dispersion of dust. Conversely, using a larger exhaust volume may not necessarily achieve the expected effect. The steel vacuum hood shell can be opened forward and backward by a hydraulic cylinder, and is connected to the exhaust gas discharge pipeline system through a flange located on the rotating shaft of the furnace body. 8. When the entire vacuum hood is opened in the forward direction, perform the feeding operation. 9. The entire vacuum hood can be opened in reverse, which is beneficial for repairing the induction coil without disassembling the vacuum hood; It is also convenient for repairing the pouring port of the induction furnace. 10. The vacuum hood with furnace cover should operate under the condition of meeting the following suction air volume (for a single furnace body). Attention: Long term operation of the vacuum hood in a state of no wind or insufficient air volume may cause equipment damage.
