UF ultrafiltration membrane is a physical filtration material based on sieving separation mechanism. It selectively intercepts colloids, bacteria, large organic molecules, and micro particulate matter under the drive of transmembrane pressure difference, while allowing water, ions, and small molecular solutes to pass through, achieving purification, concentration, and classification separation of solutions. The core materials include organic polymers such as polyvinylidene fluoride, polyether sulfone, and polyacrylonitrile, as well as inorganic ceramic systems such as alumina and zirconia.
UF ultrafiltration membrane adopts PVDF polymer hollow fiber membrane fibers with high mechanical strength and chemical resistance, ensuring longer service life and reliable and stable operation of membrane components. It can effectively remove bacteria, viruses, and particles including colloids to protect subsequent process equipment such as reverse osmosis systems. The characteristics of high strength and strong chemical resistance ensure a longer service life of membrane components. The characteristics of easy cleaning and wetting enable it to maintain good performance for a long time. The external pressure structure can withstand higher concentrations of suspended solids in the incoming water, reducing the need for pre-treatment processes.

*Operation: During startup, shutdown, cleaning, or other operations, it is necessary to avoid damage to the membrane components caused by sudden pressure changes. Before starting, the UF system should be flushed, the transport protective fluid should be removed, and any residual air should be expelled. When running for the first time, the equipment needs to be manually started, with the initial water production controlled at 60% of the design water production. The water produced during the initial work needs to be drained completely, depending on the application.
*Tip: Before initializing the system startup program, membrane preprocessing, membrane component installation, device debugging, and other system testing should be carried out. Correct startup operation and normal system startup help ensure that system operating parameters comply with design specifications, guarantee the normal operation of membrane components, and prevent damage.
