There will inevitably be some air in the heating and cooling water circulation system, which comes from system water replenishment and pipe network leakage. This part of the gas exists in three forms in the system: form A, where the gas accumulates in the form of a gas mass at high points or local high points in the system, such as pipeline corners, top of heat exchangers (radiators, fan coil units), etc. B form, the gas circulates with the water in the system in the form of free bubbles. C form, gas dissolves in water and moves with the water cycle. Among the three forms of gas mentioned above, A and B are free gases, and C is a dissolved gas. The three will constantly transform into each other, but their quantities in various forms will remain relatively stable in the absence of external conditions. The presence of air in water can have many adverse effects on heating and cooling water circulation systems. Accumulated gas can cause air resistance, resulting in uneven system resistance, poor system circulation, noise, and cavitation. These problems can reduce the head and operating efficiency of water pumps, shorten the service life of equipment and pipelines, and reduce the heat transfer efficiency of heat exchangers. Air resistance in the system makes it difficult to debug, and manual exhaust is often required during operation. The oxygen in the system can cause oxygen corrosion. Corrosion reduces the service life of the system, directly affecting the entire system. Vacuum degassing and deoxygenation use the principle of differential pressure degassing, which can be applied to any water system. Its strong degassing ability ensures the rapid removal of free and dissolved gases from the system, enabling the system to operate reliably.

According to Henry's law, a certain amount of gas is dissolved in water at a certain temperature and pressure. When the temperature increases or the pressure decreases, the amount of dissolved gases in water will decrease; On the contrary, when the temperature decreases or the pressure increases, the amount of dissolved gases in water will increase. The vacuum deaerator releases free and dissolved gases in the water system through the vacuum generated in the equipment without changing the water temperature, and then exhausts the system through an automatic exhaust valve. After degassing, the water is injected into the system again. This low gas content water is unsaturated water and has a high absorption capacity for gases. It will absorb gases in the system to seek gas equilibrium. This cycle removes all gases from the system.
