Test principle:

Use a puncture force testing device to evaluate the puncture force of the injection needle by measuring the peak force when the needle passes vertically through the simulated skin at a specified speed.

1. Place the tested needle and simulated skin at a temperature of 22 ° C ± 2 ° C for at least 24 hours and conduct testing at the same temperature;

3. Install the test needle on the device, with its axis perpendicular to the surface of the simulated skin, and the needle tip pointing towards the center of the circular puncture area.

4. Set the moving speed to 100mm/min and start the testing device.

5. During the puncture process on the membrane, peak force is measured or force/displacement maps are recorded simultaneously. Note: Do not use membranes that have been punctured in circular puncture areas.
