The annual North American Radiology Annual Conference (RSNA) will once again be held as scheduled in Chicago, USA. 2023 is the 109th edition of the exhibition, and the theme of this conference is "Tomorrow's Radiology Today".
The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) is a regional radiology academic group jointly established by the United States and Canada. It was founded in 1915 and is currently in its 104th session. It was originally called the Western Roentgen Society and was renamed RSNA in 1919.
RSNA is an internationally established society with a large number of members, high scientific level, and active academic activities. Its members are mainly located in the United States and Canada, and are divided into members, associate members, and honorary members. International members are distributed in multiple countries and regions in Europe, Asia, and Oceania, and are divided into members and honorary members. CT dose detection phantom
The contribution of CT dose to medical radiation dose also reaches about 50%. Quality control should be maintained as a daily work for a long time. Each PMMA board has a central hole for placing blank inserts (standard) for automatic exposure control detection. The CT value module is used to check the CT machine's ability to distinguish substances of different densities. To check the linearity of the CT value scale, air is commonly used Organic glass material. Gamma Knife Testing Spherical Model
The Gamma Knife spherical detection phantom can measure dosimetric parameters such as output dose, linearity, repeatability, transmission dose, dose field distribution (such as equal dose curve, off-axis ratio, and half width of radiation field), focal ratio, and actual output dose of the treatment plan for the head gamma knife, body gamma knife, head X-knife, and body X-knife focal points.
The spherical detection module of the head gamma knife can simulate the dynamic detection process and facilitate the detection of the relevant dosimetric performance of the gamma knife in actual use. This module can be inserted into various thickness inserts used in ionization chambers, thermoluminescence films, and semiconductor detectors. Different specifications of inserts can meet the needs of different dose measurement methods during use. The clinical efficacy after Gamma Knife is a concentrated reflection of safety and effectiveness. Due to its late onset of efficacy and side effects, long-term follow-up and systematic summary are good basis for improving the quality of Gamma Knife.
The organic glass spherical mold with a diameter of Φ 160mm is one of the dosimetric performance testing devices used in gamma knife equipment. A 10mm thick insertion plate can be inserted into its center, and different insertion plates can be inserted into ionization chambers, pyroelectric chips, and semiconductors respectively.
