100 × 100 × 100mm honeycomb zeolitePrepared from hydrophobic zeolites with different pore sizes, with a pore size ratio of about 60% and a specific surface area of 500-1000m3/g. Zeolite honeycomb structure has excellent organic waste gas adsorption performance and good gas permeability, especially suitable for high air volume and low concentration VOCS gas treatment.

1) Dehydration. The polar hydrophilicity of zeolite molecular sieves with low silicon to aluminum ratios (such as type A, type X, etc.) can be utilized for air drying. In addition, in recent years, the addition of ethanol to replace some gasoline has received widespread attention. As a fuel, ethanol requires a water content of less than 0.8%. However, due to the azeotrope of ethanol and water, only 95% ethanol can be obtained through distillation. For ethanol dehydration with low water content, zeolite molecular sieve adsorption dehydration is an ideal choice.
The zeolite molecular sieve used in this method is of type A or X, while the KA type takes advantage of the polarity of the A-type zeolite molecular sieve. On the other hand, due to the pore diameter of the KA zeolite molecular sieve being about 0.3 nm, water molecules can freely enter, while ethanol molecules with a diameter greater than 0.3 nm cannot enter the pores of the zeolite molecular sieve. This zeolite molecular sieve dehydration process is an industrial process for producing fuel ethanol.
