Product Details

Bitter and salty water refers to water with alkalinity greater than hardness, containing a large amount of neutral salts, and a pH value greater than 7. Bitter and salty water in China is mainly distributed in the northern and eastern coastal areas.

Brackish water desalinationMethod:

1: Distillation method
Distillation is the process of heating brackish water or seawater to boil and evaporate, and then condensing the steam into fresh water. Distillation method is the earliest adopted desalination method for brackish water, which has the main advantages of simple structure, easy operation, and good quality of fresh water obtained. There are many types of distillation methods, such as multi effect evaporation, multi-stage flash evaporation, pressure vapor distillation, membrane distillation, etc.
2: Electrodialysis method
Electrodialysis is a membrane separation technology that uses ion exchange membranes to separate anions and cations from saltwater under the action of an electric field, thereby reducing the salt concentration in the freshwater chamber and obtaining freshwater. The electrodialysis device utilizes the directional migration of ions under the action of an electric field, and achieves desalination by selecting a permeable ion exchange membrane. The electrodialysis desalination technology for brackish water has been relatively mature, with the main advantages of simple process, high desalination rate, low water production cost, easy operation, and no environmental pollution. However, there are disadvantages such as strict water quality requirements and the need for pre-treatment of raw water. In the 1950s, the United States and the United Kingdom began using this method for desalination of brackish water. In the 1980s, China used this method for brackish water desalination, industrial pure water, and ultrapure water production.
3: Reverse osmosis method
Reverse osmosis is the process of applying a higher pressure than natural osmosis to one side of a concentrated solution, reversing the direction of natural osmosis, and pressing ions in the solution onto the other side of a semi permeable membrane. This is opposite to the normal process of osmosis in nature, hence it is called "reverse osmosis". This device is called a reverse osmosis device. The reverse osmosis desalination method can remove over 90% of soluble salts and over 99% of colloidal microorganisms and organic matter from water. Compared with other water treatment methods, it has the advantages of no phase change, normal temperature operation, simple equipment, high efficiency, less land occupation, convenient operation, less energy consumption, wide adaptability, high degree of automation, and good effluent quality.

Function Introduction:

Preprocessing system:
Sand filter - adsorbs rust, mud, sand, and large impurities in water to ensure the effectiveness of lower level filtration and reduce turbidity;
Carbon filter - adsorbs colloids, organic matter, bleaching powder and other organic solvents in water to ensure the filtration effect of the lower stage;
Softener - removes calcium and magnesium ions from water to ensure lower filtration efficiency and extend the service life of membrane components;
Reverse osmosis membrane components: effectively remove charged ions, inorganic substances, colloidal particles, bacteria, and organic matter from water, and efficiently desalinate to achieve the goal of producing pure water;
UV: Quickly removes common bacteria such as mold spores and algae, with a sterilization efficiency of up to 99%;
Ozone: filters out general bacteria, Escherichia coli, and viruses that cannot be completely removed by ultraviolet radiation, oxidizes organic matter in water, and further purifies water quality;

The desalination rate and purity of the bitter and salty water produced by the reverse osmosis method of Jiefeng brand are higher than those of the electrodialysis method; The effluent quality is superior to China's "Sanitary Standards for Drinking Water". By using reverse osmosis method to desalinate high fluoride and low mineral content brackish water, the effluent quality can meet China's "Sanitary Standards for Drinking Pure Water"; Both electricity and water consumption are lower than those of electrodialysis, which is energy-saving and environmentally friendly; Reverse osmosis equipment has a compact structure, small footprint, stable and reliable operating effect, and meets the requirements of "clean production". It is a more reasonable and effective method for desalination of brackish water.
