The working face conveyor with a 90 degree bend at the intersection of working face 1 and transportation roadway is called the "corner scraper conveyor". In the current coal mining face, the role of the scraper conveyor is not only to transport coal and materials, but also to serve as the operating track of the coal mining machine, making it an indispensable main equipment in modern coal mining technology. The bendable scraper conveyor can maintain continuous operation, and production can proceed normally. Otherwise, the entire coal mining face will be in a state of shutdown, causing the entire production to be interrupted.

Smoking is strictly prohibited near all conveying machinery that transports flammable and explosive materials. Explosion proof openings on such conveyors should be regularly inspected, and any abnormalities should be promptly repaired to reduce potential safety hazards.
2、 Operating Procedures for Flexible Scraper Conveyor
1、 Job requirements
Article 1: The driver of the scraper conveyor must be familiar with the performance, construction principles, and operating procedures of the scraper conveyor, master the general maintenance and fault handling skills of the conveyor, understand the basic knowledge of mining and roadway support, pass the training and examination, and obtain the operation qualification certificate before being allowed to work with the certificate.
2、 Regulations
Article 2: When there is a danger to personal safety within the scope of the operation, it must be reported and dealt with in a timely manner before the operation can be carried out.
Article 3: When the gas concentration in the airflow within 20 meters of the motor and its switch location reaches 1.5%, the operation must be stopped, the power supply must be cut off, personnel must be evacuated, and treatment must be carried out; When the gas concentration in the return airway airflow of the working face exceeds 1.0% or the carbon dioxide concentration exceeds 1.5%, the operation must be stopped, personnel must be evacuated, and treatment must be carried out.
Article 4: It is strictly prohibited for personnel to ride on the scraper conveyor. When using a scraper conveyor to transport materials that are allowed by operating procedures and other regulations, measures must be strictly implemented to prevent toppling people and overturning supports.
Article 5: Before starting the scraper conveyor, a driving signal must be issued to confirm that personnel have left the rotating parts of the machine. After issuing a warning signal or jogging twice, it can be officially started.
Article 6: When repairing or handling faults in scraper conveyors, the power supply must be cut off, the control switch must be locked, and a power outage sign must be hung.
Article 7: When pinching, connecting, or inching, personnel must avoid the direction of force on the chain; During normal operation, the driver is not allowed to face the direction of the scraper conveyor to avoid chain breakage and injury.
Article 8: When disassembling the oil injection plug, fusible plug, and explosion-proof plate of the hydraulic coupling, the face should avoid the direction of oil injection, wear gloves, loosen a few buckles, stop for a period of time and release air, and then slowly unscrew them. It is strictly prohibited to use unqualified fusible plugs and explosion-proof plates.
3、 Application and classification of bendable scraper conveyor
The machine model produced by our factory is a universal buried scraper conveyor, which can be widely used in chemical, mechanical, metallurgical, light industry, grain, pharmaceutical, transportation, hydropower and other departments. It is used to transport materials in the form of dust, small particles, small particles and small pieces.
The universal buried scraper conveyor is divided into the following types
1. MS type horizontal buried scraper conveyor;
2. MC type vertical buried scraper conveyor;
3. MZ type Z-type buried scraper conveyor.
There are two types of horizontal buried scraper conveyors: ordinary type and large inclined type. The installation angle of ordinary type is 0 °≤α ≤ 15 °, while the installation angle of large inclined type is 15 °<α<30 °
5、 The universal buried scraper conveyor has the following requirements for the materials conveyed:
1. Material bulk density: r=0.2~1.8t/m3
2. Temperature: Material temperature t<100 ℃
3. Moisture content: For general materials, they should not be pinched into clumps by hand to prevent them from becoming loose; For materials with increased moisture content that will increase adhesion and compaction, the material should not be severely adhered to the scraper.
4. Particle size: The particle size of a material is related to its hardness. If the particle size is too large, it is difficult to transport. The requirements for material particle size are shown in the table below.
