1、 Overview of Horizontal Spiral Conveyor:
The horizontal screw conveyor, also known as the shaftless screw conveyor, is a new type of screw conveyor independently developed by our company based on the actual situation where LS and GX types of screw conveyors are used in industries such as building materials, chemicals, environmental protection, electricity, medicine, metallurgy, and food to transport materials with high abrasion, high viscosity, easy agglomeration, and easy entanglement, resulting in material blockage and damaged suspension bearings that prevent the screw machine from working properly. This product is suitable for continuous and uniform conveying of loose, viscous, and easily entangled materials. The conveying temperature of the material can reach up to 100 ℃, and the large inclination angle is less than 45 °

2、 Characteristics of horizontal screw conveyor:
Compared with traditional shaft screw conveyors, horizontal screw conveyors have the following outstanding advantages due to the use of a non central shaft and suspended bearing design, and the use of a flexible integral steel screw to push materials:
1. Spiral has super strong wear resistance and durability, with a long service life.
2. Strong resistance to entanglement: without central axis interference, it has special advantages for conveying belt like and easily entangled materials, preventing blockage and accidents.
3. Good environmental performance: Adopting fully enclosed conveying and easy to clean spiral surface, it can ensure environmental hygiene and prevent the conveyed materials from being contaminated or leaking.
4. Large torque and low energy consumption: Due to the lack of a shaft in the spiral and the difficulty of material blockage, it can operate at lower speeds, achieve smooth transmission, and reduce energy consumption.
5. Large conveying capacity: The conveying capacity is 1.5 times that of traditional shaft conveyors with the same diameter, up to 40m3/h. The conveying distance is long, up to 25 meters, and can be installed in a multi-stage series according to user needs for ultra long distance material conveying.
6. Compact structure, easy operation, economical durability, minimal maintenance, and low maintenance costs.
3、 Structure of horizontal screw conveyor:
This product mainly consists of a drive device, head assembly, casing, shaftless spiral body, groove lining plate, feed port, discharge port, machine cover (if needed), base, etc.
1. Drive device: Adopting cycloidal pinwheel reducer or shaft mounted hard tooth surface gear reducer, the drive device should be designed to be located at the discharge port end as much as possible, so that the spiral body is in a tensile state during operation.
2. The head is equipped with thrust bearings that can withstand the axial force generated during material transportation.
3. Chassis: The chassis is U-shaped or O-shaped, with a rainproof cover on the top, made of stainless steel, carbon steel, or fiberglass.
4. Axial free spiral body: made of stainless steel or carbon steel.
5. Tank lining plate: made of wear-resistant plastic plate, rubber plate, cast stone plate, etc.
6. Inlet and outlet: There are two types: square and circular. Generally, the form of inlet and outlet is determined by the user.

5、 Installation, commissioning and operation of horizontal screw conveyor equipment:
1. Equipment installation requirements:
a. The on-site installation of the inlet and outlet should ensure that the flange support surface of the inlet and outlet is parallel to the axis of the screw machine body; The flange connected to it should be tightly fitted without any gaps.
b. After the installation of the screw machine, it should be checked whether the reducer has been fully lubricated. If not, it should be fully lubricated before conducting a no-load test; After conducting a continuous trial run for more than half an hour, check the correctness of the screw machine assembly. If any problems are found, stop the machine immediately, handle them, and then operate until it is in good working condition.
c. The operation of the screw machine should be smooth and reliable, with no loose fasteners. The reducer has no oil leakage or abnormal noise, and the electrical equipment is safe and reliable.
2. Equipment usage requirements:
a. The screw machine should start without load, that is, when there is no material inside the casing, it can only be fed after starting.
b. When the screw machine is initially fed, the feeding amount should be gradually increased until it reaches the rated conveying capacity. The feeding should be uniform, otherwise it is easy to cause material blockage and overload of the driving device, which can damage the entire machine.
c. In order to ensure the requirement of no-load starting of the screw machine, the conveyor should stop feeding before stopping, and can only stop running after the materials inside the casing are completely conveyed.
d. Hard large pieces of material must not be mixed into the conveyed material to avoid the screw getting stuck and causing damage to the screw machine.
e. Regularly check the working status of each part of the screw machine during use, pay attention to whether the fasteners are loose, and if the parts are found to be loose, immediately tighten the screws to make them sturdy again.
