GB/T40302 Plastic Vertical Combustion TesterIn the process of evaluating the combustion test characteristics of plastic materials for electric bicycles, GB/T 40302 standard is used for testing thin specimens that are prone to bending and specimens that curl up but do not ignite when exposed to fire. This standard specifies a small-scale laboratory screening method for the combustion characteristics of flexible thin specimens when vertically exposed to a small flame ignition source. The experimental principle is to fix one end of a cylindrical sample vertically on a fixture, apply a specified test flame to the other end twice in a row, and evaluate the combustion characteristics of the sample by measuring the residual flame and residual burning time.
