The GR-TOX luminescent bacteria method water quality toxicity online monitor combines biological behavior with environmental monitoring methods. According to the "GBT15441-1995 Determination of Acute Toxicity of Water Quality by Luminescent Bacteria Method", luminescent bacteria are used as indicator organisms to monitor water quality conditions and indicate the occurrence of pollution events. The detection mechanism of the product is that luminescent bacteria emit light during metabolism. When the normal metabolic process is inhibited, the luminescence intensity decreases, and the metabolic process is inhibited by the influence of toxins. By using photomultiplier tubes, the luminescence intensity of bacteria can be monitored in real time. By recording the changes in luminescence intensity of luminescent bacteria, the effect relationship between luminescence intensity changes and comprehensive toxicity of water quality can be established to determine the water quality status. Once a pollution incident occurs, warning signals can be sent to relevant personnel in a short period of time through sound, light, and text messages, in order to handle and effectively control it in a timely manner, avoiding the lag of chemical testing and the complexity of manual detection. Mainly used for toxicity testing of wastewater, surface water, groundwater, and drinking water.

The GR-TOX luminescent bacteria method water quality toxicity online monitoring instrument consists of three parts: photoelectric detection system, data processing system, and data transmission system.

Photoelectric detection system: converts the light signal generated by luminescent bacteria into an electrical signal through a photomultiplier tube

Focus on monitoring the sensitivity of luminescent bacteria to toxic and harmful pollutants, and determine the acute toxicity level of pollutants to indicator organisms through toxicity testing experiments, as well as the types and response times of pollutants that serve as water quality warning organisms.

Data processing system: By collecting and processing the electrical signals from photomultiplier tubes, the signals are converted into equivalent concentrations of toxic substances and automatically evaluated for the toxicity level of the current water sample, making the detection results intuitive and easy to understand.

Data transmission system: It ensures the real-time transmission of image data to the upper layer system and remote control system, using a combination of software programming and hardware to ensure the efficiency of data transmission, making the remote observation effect consistent with on-site observation, and avoiding data delay.
