Overview
The MFW type iron and manganese removal equipment adopts self-priming, jet pump aeration, and contact oxidation to remove iron and manganese through specialized filter media filtration, reducing the content of iron and manganese in water. Significant removal of iron and manganese can be achieved without the need to add any chemicals during operation. And it can also remove a certain amount of ammonia nitrogen and nitrite while removing iron and manganese.
This device has outstanding advantages such as simple structure, stable and reliable water quality, automatic continuous operation, no need for manual operation, simple and convenient management, etc. It has unique strengths among products in the same industry nationwide.
Introduction to Equipment Process
1. Process flow of MFW type iron and manganese removal water purifier: iron and manganese containing water dissolved oxygen aeration interception self-adjusting control treated water
2. Equipment structure diagram and process description:
As shown in the figure below, before the groundwater is pumped to the equipment, it is first filled with air (dissolved oxygen) through a jet pump, enters the treatment system through an inlet pipe 7, and is aerated in a distribution box 9 to release carbon rich gas in the water. The gas is then diverted into the water distribution tank to balance the inflow of the left and right filter chambers. It enters the water purification chamber 10 through the distribution pipe, passes through the active filter bed 8 in the purification chamber, removes iron and manganese components, and overflows into the automatic control water tank 1 through the catchment area 5. The overflow water is supplied through the outlet 6. In the active filter bed, if the iron and manganese are fully loaded, the equipment will automatically turn on the backwash device of the filter bed. The backwash water will be discharged through pipeline 2 to oxidize the iron manganese complex through the drainage well. After backwashing for 5-10 minutes, the equipment can resume operation.


When the raw water contains only iron (or manganese but does not exceed the standard, the iron content in the water is below 15 milligrams per liter, and the pH value of the water is between 6-6.5, the water purification capacity of this equipment is Q1).
2. The iron content in the raw water is below 5 milligrams per liter, and the manganese content is below 1.5 milligrams per liter (including 1.5 milligrams per liter). When the pH value of the raw water is between 6.5-7, the water purification capacity of the equipment is Q1.
3. The iron content in the raw water is below 5 milligrams per liter, and the manganese content is above 1.5 milligrams per liter (but not exceeding 2.5 milligrams per liter). When the pH value of the raw water is between 6.5-7, the water purification capacity of this equipment is Q2.
4. If the iron content in the raw water exceeds 5 milligrams per liter and the manganese content exceeds 2.5 milligrams per liter, this equipment can be used for multi-stage treatment. Please provide the raw water quality test report when placing an order, so that we can provide you with guidance.
5. For water purifiers with a capacity of 100m ³/h or more, due to inconvenient transportation, it is suitable for on-site assembly.
6. The turbidity of the raw water entering the equipment should be below 50 degrees; When the temperature is above 50 degrees but below 100 degrees, a small amount of coagulant should be added before entering the equipment.
