Magnetic filter machine is a composite liquid purification equipment, which is designed to combine the mechanical filtration function of filter bag or basket with the magnetic adsorption function of built-in magnetic rod in the traditional pressure filter chamber. This design can synchronously and efficiently remove two key impurities from liquids: ferromagnetic particles (such as iron filings and abrasives) are captured by high-strength magnetic force, while other non-magnetic solid particles are intercepted by filter bags or baskets. It is particularly suitable for protecting downstream precision equipment (such as spinnerets, metering pumps), improving the cleanliness level of products such as oil, coatings, resins, etc. It is an economical and practical solution to achieve integrated and efficient purification.

Magnetic filter machineIt is an innovative filtering device that does not use traditional drum or tube insertion structures, but cleverly integrates high-performance magnetic systems into the cavity of widely accepted quick opening bag or basket filters in the industry. This integrated design enables a device to have two purification mechanisms simultaneously, providing an efficient solution for handling fluids with complex compositions.


The core structure of the device includes a quick opening sealed top cover, a pressure tank body, and a porous support filter basket placed inside the tank body. The innovation lies in the uniform arrangement of several high-performance permanent magnet rods (usually made of neodymium iron boron material) sealed and protected by stainless steel sleeves inside the filter basket. The filter medium (filter bag or directly using filter basket) is fitted on the outside of the filter basket. During operation, the liquid to be processed flows into the tank through the inlet, first filling the cavity between the filter basket and the tank wall. The liquid must flow through the strong magnetic field generated by these magnetic rods before and after passing through the filtering medium.
The working process is divided into two synchronized steps:


  1. magnetic adsorptionWhen the liquid flows around the magnetic rod, the ferromagnetic impurities contained in it (such as iron filings, rust, and tiny worn metal particles) are instantly adsorbed by the strong gradient magnetic field generated by the magnetic rod, firmly fixed on the outer wall of the stainless steel sleeve of the magnetic rod.


  2. Mechanical interceptionSubsequently, the liquid continues to penetrate the filter mesh on the filter bag or basket, and the remaining non-magnetic solid particles (such as dust, plastic shavings, and other non-metallic impurities) are precisely intercepted by the filter medium.



After these two levels of purification, the clean liquid enters the interior of the filter basket and is discharged from the outlet at the bottom of the equipment. This process of magnetic attraction followed by filtration (or synchronous) ensures the removal of impurities.
Magnetic filter machineThe maintenance operation combines the simplicity of bag filters with the characteristics of magnetic separation. When the pressure difference of the equipment increases and maintenance is required, simply open the quick opening top cover. First, you can extract the built-in magnetic rod and manually wipe or use a scraper to remove the iron impurities adsorbed on the casing; Then, remove and replace the saturated filter bag or clean the filter basket. This process does not require dismantling the pipeline, and the operation is direct and fast.
The main advantage of this device lies in its composite purification ability, especially suitable for processing media such as recycled lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, plastic melt, paint ink, cutting fluid, etc. that may contain both metal and non-metal wear particles. It effectively extends the lifespan of downstream precision components and improves the purity of the final product.
