(1) There are many cracks in the throat nozzle and drip catcher of the dust collector, causing serious air leakage and interfering with the normal power operation of the flue gas, especially the air leakage on the drip catcher cylinder wall, weakening the adhesion between the water film and the cylinder wall, and having a negative impact on the normal flow of the water film, resulting in an increase in the amount of water carried by the flue gas and correspondingly increasing the amount of ash carried. This not only reduces the efficiency of the dust collector, but also increases the load and energy consumption of the induced draft fan.
(2) The cross-sectional area of the Venturi throat is too large, and the smoke velocity in the throat does not meet the requirements, resulting in poor atomization of the Venturi nozzle. The momentum of the collision between fly ash and water droplets is small, making it difficult to mix properly. The inlet smoke velocity of the drip catcher is low, the centrifugal force of the ash particles is weakened, and the number of particles sucked away by the induced draft fan increases, which reduces the efficiency of the dust collector.
(3) The foundation of the dust collector sinks, the structure deforms, and there is severe air leakage at the bottom of the nozzle. After shutting down the furnace, the ash water overflows, causing severe corrosion of the foundation part of the Venturi horizontal section (ordinary red brick masonry), resulting in foundation sinking, horizontal section fracture, air leakage and water leakage, causing the inlet volute of the droplet collector to break and the Venturi to leak severely, greatly reducing the dust removal efficiency.
(4) The inlet water channel of the drip catcher has serious overflow, which does not play a role in blocking water. The flue gas rushes and overflows, causing an increase in the amount of water carried by the flue gas.
(5) The design of the Venturi atomizing nozzle is unreasonable. Fly ash washes the nozzle pipeline, which can easily cause wear, water leakage, pressure drop, and poor atomization of the nozzle pipeline. The throat fly ash is not tightly sealed and directly enters the droplet catcher. The weak inertia of the fly ash reduces the efficiency of the dust collector.
