The NE type plate chain bucket elevator is a widely used vertical lifting equipment, which is suitable for the vertical transportation of medium, large and abrasive materials (such as limestone, cement clinker, gypsum, block coal), with material temperature below 250 ℃.

2、 Structural features:

The NE type plate chain bucket elevator consists of operating components, driving device, upper device, middle casing, and lower device.

Running components - composed of a hopper and a dedicated plate chain, NE30 and below use single row chains, NE50-NE800 use double row chains.

Drive device - using multiple drive combinations to drive (depending on the actual needs of the user) The drive platform is equipped with maintenance racks and railings. The driving device is divided into two types: left and right mounted.

Upper device - equipped with tracks (double row chains), backstops, and anti backflow rubber plates at the discharge port.

Middle section - Some middle sections are equipped with tracks (double chains) to prevent the chain from swinging during operation.

Lower device - equipped with automatic tensioning device.

3、 Main components

1. Bucket belt:

The bucket belt is the traction component of the bucket elevator, which is used to carry and transmit power. Require high strength, good flexibility, low elongation, and light weight. There are two commonly used types: canvas straps and rubber straps. Canvas belt is woven from cotton yarn and is mainly suitable for bucket elevators with small conveying capacity and lifting height, and dry materials and working environments; The rubber belt is made of several layers of canvas belt and rubber bonded by vulcanization, suitable for elevators with large conveying capacity and lifting height.

2. Bucket:

A dustpan is a component used to store and transport materials. According to different materials, there are metal buckets and plastic buckets. A metal dustpan is made of thin steel plates with a thickness of 1-2mm, which are welded, riveted, or stamped; The plastic bucket is made of polypropylene plastic, which has the advantages of lightweight structure, low cost, wear resistance, and no sparks when colliding with the barrel. It is an ideal bucket. The commonly used buckets can be divided into deep buckets, shallow buckets, and bottomless buckets according to their external structure, which are suitable for different materials. The dustpan is fixed and installed with specific bolts.

3. Head and bottom wheels:

The head wheel and bottom wheel are also called driving wheel and driven wheel. The driven wheel also plays a tensioning role and is installed on the machine head and base respectively. They are the supporting components of the bucket belt, that is, the bucket belt surrounds the head wheel and bottom wheel to form a closed circular flexible traction component. The structure of the head wheel and bottom wheel is the same as that of the drive wheel and tension wheel of the belt conveyor.

4. Head:

The machine head is mainly composed of the machine head shell, head wheel, short shaft, bearings, transmission wheel, and discharge port;

The commonly used barrel is a rectangular twin barrel type, as shown in the figure. The barrel is usually made of thin steel plates into 1.5-2m long segments, which are connected by angle steel flanges between segments. Observation windows should be installed at appropriate positions when the engine passes through each floor, and a maintenance port should be set up in the middle of the entire engine.

6. Machine base:

The machine base is mainly composed of a base shell, a bottom wheel, a shaft, bearings, a tensioning device, and a feeding port,

3、 Advantages and disadvantages

1. The scope of improvement is wide. This type of hoist has fewer requirements for the type, characteristics, and block size of materials. Not only can it improve general powder, granular, and block materials, but it can also improve materials with high grindability. The material temperature is ≤ 250 degrees.

2. Large conveying capacity. This series of elevators has multiple specifications ranging from NE15 to NE800. The range of increase is 15-800m3/h.

3. The driving power is small. This type of hoist adopts inflow feeding, gravity induced unloading, and uses densely arranged large capacity hoppers for conveying, with low chain speed and large lifting capacity. When lifting materials, there is almost no material return or excavation phenomenon, so the ineffective power is low, and the power consumption is 70% of that of the chain hoist.

4. Long service life. The feeding of the elevator adopts an inflow type, without the need for digging with a bucket, and there is little squeezing and collision between materials. The design of this machine ensures that materials will not scatter during feeding, lifting, and unloading, reducing mechanical wear. The conveyor chain adopts a plate chain high-strength wear-resistant chain, greatly extending its service life. Under normal use, the service life of the conveyor chain exceeds 5 years.

11. Low usage cost. Due to energy conservation and minimal maintenance, the usage cost is extremely low.
