(2) Due to the absence of medication, the amount of sludge generated by electrocoagulation process is usually 40% less than other treatment processes, resulting in high sludge density and greatly reducing the disposal cost of sludge, while also achieving clean production of sewage treatment processes;

(3) The equipment has a high degree of automation, simple operation, low requirements for operators, smooth operation, stable effluent quality, short equipment processing time, and high processing efficiency;

(4) The investment of electrocoagulation treatment process is basically equivalent to that of other treatment processes in terms of project investment, but the operating cost of electrocoagulation treatment process is usually only between 1/3 and 1/2 of the operating cost of other treatment processes;

(5) The hydroxide produced by electrocoagulation has higher activity, stronger coagulation and adsorption ability, and better treatment effect than chemical coagulants. The required amount of metal ions is only about one-third of that of chemical coagulation, and it will not increase the anion content in water due to the addition of chemicals;

(6) The electrocoagulation treatment equipment is designed to be compact and occupies a small area, only 1/5 of the area occupied by chemical treatment facilities.
