The main components of the equipment include the tail plate, filter plate, filter frame, head plate, clamping device, and frame. The surface of the filter plate is designed with complex channel grooves and covered with filter cloth, which plays a role in supporting the filter cloth and guiding the filtrate to flow out; The filter frame is located between two filter plates, and its cavity constitutes the space for accommodating the filter cake. The corners above the filter plate and filter frame are both provided with through holes, which together form a complete feeding, washing, and exhaust channel when stacked.
Its working cycle usually includes four stages: compression, filtration, washing (if necessary), and unloading. The suspension to be filtered is pumped into the closed filtration chamber formed by high-pressure pumping through the feed pump. Under pressure, the liquid passes through the filter cloth, collects along the grooves on the filter plate, and is discharged from the outlet valve to become a clear filtrate; The solid particles are intercepted by the filter cloth and gradually accumulate in the cavity of the filter frame to form a filter cake. When the filter cake fills the filter frame or the pressure reaches the set value, the filtering stage ends. If the process requires, washing solution can be introduced to replace and wash the filter cake. Afterwards, compressed air can be introduced for cross flow drying to further reduce the moisture content of the filter cake.
After completing one cycle, release the clamping device and move each filter plate and frame in sequence. The filter cake falls off from the filter cloth due to its own weight, achieving unloading.
