The 8161AFFT fluorescence testing tool is a fluorescence contrast resolution testing tool designed based on the research results of Wagner, Barnes, and Vu [1]. This tool consists of two 6-inch by 6-inch, 1-millimeter (1%) thick aluminum plates with 11 test targets on them; The size, contrast, and number of targets are fixed in the fluorescence tool kit.
The testing tool is also equipped with three 6-inch by 6-inch, 1-millimeter thick copper plates (i.e. attenuation plates). The design of this tool needs to be used in conjunction with copper plates: the copper plate should be placed near the radiation source (such as a workbench), and the aluminum plate test plate should be placed near the input end of the image detector.
