The filtering element consists of several cylindrical filter screens densely distributed along the circumference of the cylinder, which filters around the cylinder. Compared with the internal and external double-layer filter structure filters currently used in power plants, the filtering area is larger, the efficiency is higher, and the filter volume can be made smaller, making it easier to install and maintain.
The filter adopts a two-stage filtration and sewage discharge mechanism. The built-in trash rack of the filter can trap larger dirt such as branches, foam and water plants, and discharge them from the upper drain valve. The remaining small particles are discharged by backwashing through the lower discharge valve. In addition, strong scissors can be added according to the user's requirements to shred larger pollutants and discharge them through the upper drain valve.
When repairing and cleaning, there is no need for specialized lifting equipment. Simply loosen the screw on the upper end of the water filter to manually lift down the deceleration mechanism and remove the filter screen for cleaning, making maintenance convenient.
The deceleration mechanism for achieving recoil adopts products from SEW Transmission Equipment Co., Ltd. in Germany, which are horizontally installed, compact in structure, have a large output torque, high motor protection level, and long service life.
Two sewage valves are imported Japanese electric valves.

working principle
The LSQ fully automatic self-cleaning water filter consists of the filter body, self-cleaning mechanism, secondary sewage system, and PLC control box. There is a trash rack plate 3 between the inlet and outlet of the water filter. There are several through holes with a diameter of 20-50mm on the trash rack plate (this hole serves as a fence for the trash rack, and the aperture can be determined according to the water quality of the watershed where the hydropower station is located). The filtration accuracy of the water filter ranges from 6mm to 0.1mm, and can be designed and manufactured according to different user requirements.

During work, natural river water and river water are taken from the inlet of the upper chamber of the water filter7. When entering, the plastic foam, branches, aquatic plants and particles with a diameter larger than the aperture of the diaphragm fence remain in the upper chamber of the water filter and are discharged by the upper drain valve 2. The relatively clean water flows through the diversion pipe to the lower chamber. After the water reaches the lower chamber, some sand particles can settle into the bottom sand settling chamber, and the sand particles can be discharged through the flushing and sediment outlet 6. The water in the lower chamber flows into the V-shaped wedge-shaped stainless steel filter tube 8 through the holes in the lower partition, and the filtered clean water flows out from the outlet 5 in the middle of the water filter. When the water filter is working online, the pressure loss is very small, and floating objects are regularly discharged from the upper sewage outlet; When impurities accumulate on the surface of the filter screen, a pressure difference will be generated at the inlet and outlet of the water filter. When the differential pressure value reaches the set value of self recoil, the differential pressure switch will act, and the electric reduction device 1, the upper electric sewage valve, and the lower electric sewage valve will be powered successively. The sewage valve is connected to the atmosphere, and the filtered water will recoil against the filter screen under the differential pressure, flushing out the pollutants attached to the filter screen and discharging them through the lower sewage valve. When discharging, the upper and lower discharge valves cannot be operated simultaneously, and the lower discharge electric valve can be activated first.

The automatic water filter with a small opening below DN100 adopts a single filtration structure, eliminating the upper discharge function. The working principle of other components is the same as that of the dual discharge structure.

Regular cleaning: Users can adjust the cleaning process according to their operating conditionsSet any timed cleaning time within 0-9999 hours. When the set time is reached, electricity will be charged
The actuator is activated, the drain valve is opened, and the water filter is cleaned and drained.
Differential pressure cleaning: Users can set the differential pressure value for differential pressure cleaning according to their own requirements. When the differential pressure value at the inlet and outlet of the water filter is high
When the set value is reached, the water filter achieves cleaning and discharging conditions.
On site manual cleaning: There is a manual cleaning button on the control box, which can be pressed to manually clean and discharge the water filter.

5、 Installation and maintenance
During installation, attention should be paid to the position of the inlet and outlet pipes as well as the sewage pipe of the water filter. Control valves should be installed at the inlet and outlet pipes. The external installation dimensions of the product are shown in Figure 2, Figure 3, and Tables 2 and 3
The sewage pipeline slopes downwards along the direction of water flow to ensure smooth sewage discharge.
The electrical control box should be fixed near the water filter.
The electrical control box of the water filter has a detailed wiring terminal diagram, and the corresponding circuits should be connected according to the definitions of each terminal during installation.
Before starting the water supply, press the manual cleaning button on the electrical control box to check if the water filter reducer and drain valve are operating correctly.
Close the outlet valve and drain valve of the water filter, slowly open the inlet valve, unscrew the exhaust screw, and exhaust the air inside the water filter. After exhaust, tighten the exhaust screw and check for leaks at all connections.
After confirming that the water filter is functioning properly, open the outlet valve and put the filter into normal use.
Normally, water filters do not require daily maintenance, and can be inspected and maintained during major unit repairs.
