working principle

Generator construction

The principle of adding water before powering on for the first time should be followed to prevent the electrodes inside the electrolysis chamber from dry burning and heating up. Connect tap water, open the main inlet valve switch below, then open the inlet valve of the left alkali chamber, observe the sodium hypochlorite level at the lower left end, and the water is full.

1、 Salt dissolution: (Note: When starting up for the first time, dilute and stir the salt with water in a water bucket at a ratio of 1:10 until dissolved, and then pour saturated salt water into the upper dosing port.) First, add a certain proportion of salt to the salt bucket, and mix it at a concentration of 5-10%. Open the inlet valve of the salt chamber in front for dissolution. After dissolution is complete, let it stand for about 15 minutes. Then turn on the knob of the salt chamber measuring flowmeter and turn it to the left to achieve high flow rate. Valve, accurately measure dilute salt water into the electrolysis chamber through a flow meter for electrolysis. Design a liquid level switch in the electrolysis chamber, and when the sodium hypochlorite in the electrolysis chamber completes electrolysis, the dosing pump will automatically start the switch for dosing work. It usually takes 1-2 hours to complete the electrolysis process by adding salt water during the first start-up.

2、 Electrode cleaning: The sodium hypochlorite generator needs to be cleaned once every 250 hours of operation. Depending on the water quality, the cleaning cycle should be extended or shortened accordingly. When cleaning, first open the discharge valve at the back end of the sodium hypochlorite generator to discharge the accumulated saltwater waste liquid and electrolytic residue in the electrolysis chamber. Then open the inlet valve of the alkali chamber to allow water to flow out until there is clean water flowing out from the back end discharge outlet. Close the inlet valve of the alkali chamber and let the clean water soak in the electrolysis chamber for 1-2 hours before discharging the water. Then backwash once again, with a general mixing concentration of about 10%.

3、 Operation: Open the salt chamber metering valve, adjust the flow control valve, and control the flow rate at 5-6 liters/hour. At the same time, close the salt chamber inlet valve and alkali chamber inlet valve, turn on the rectifier power supply, and adjust the current within 50A. Generally, the voltage should be above 5V. If the voltage is too high, it indicates a low concentration of salt water. Otherwise, if the voltage is too high, it indicates a high concentration of salt water. (This device has set a current limit of 50A) Electrolysis will start working.

4、 Backwash: After each shift is completed, backwashing must be carried out once. During backwashing, the vent valve should be opened first to drain the saltwater stored in the pipeline. Then, the backwash vent and backwash inlet water valves should be opened for about 10 minutes, and the vent valve should be opened to drain the accumulated water for the next use.
