This device is used to produce a mixture of methane and water vapor required for methane reforming reaction. The proportion of the mixed gas can be flexibly adjusted. The process flow of the equipment is shown in Figure 1.

3. Installation steps

(1) Open the packaging box and place the device on a horizontal platform;(2) Connect the methane gas source to the equipment inlet;(3) Prepare a container, fill it with a sufficient amount of deionized water, and insert the inlet pipe into the container;(4) Connect the power cord to the power socket of the device and power it on. At this point, you can observe that the power indicator light on the front panel of the device is on, indicating that the device has been installed.

4. Human machine interface operation

There is a 7-inch touch screen and a simple user interaction interface on the front panel of the device (as shown in the figure).

On the main page, six key components of the generator can be set and observed, namely the electromagnetic shut-off valve, mass flow meter, evaporator, inlet pump, preheating mixer, and heat tracing device.


(1) Electromagnetic shut-off valveClick the leftmost button on the main page to turn on or off the intake.

(2) Mass flow meterThe main page displays the current flow rate of the mass flowmeter in real-time. Click the "Settings" button to set the "target flow rate" for methane. Attention: The flow meter parameters are set at the time of entry and should not be changed unless necessary!



(3) EvaporatorThe current temperature of the evaporator is displayed on the main page. Click the "Settings" button to enter the PID temperature control setting interface of the evaporator. On this interface, the PID temperature control parameters of the evaporator can be set. Ordinary users only need to set the SV parameter, which is the target temperature. The evaporator parameters are set at the factory, please change them under the guidance of our technical personnel.


(4) Preheating mixer: The main page displays the current temperature at the temperature measurement point of the heat tracing pipeline. Click the "Settings" button to enter the PID temperature control setting interface of the heat tracing device. On this interface, the PID temperature control parameters of the heat tracing device can be set. Ordinary users only need to set the SV parameter, which is the target temperature.


(5) Heat tracing device: This device reserves one heat tracing control resource for controlling the heat tracing of the connecting pipelines between this device and other devices.


(6) Inlet pump: Click the button on the left side of "Inlet pump" on the main interface to turn on or off the inlet pump. Click the "Settings" button to enter the water flow setting interface. In this interface, the "target flow rate" of water can be set. The pump parameters are set at the factory and should not be changed unless necessary!


5. Operation process

(1) Connect the power and turn on the system switch in front of the device;(2) On the touch screen, turn on the methane solenoid valve switch(3) Enter the quality flowmeter setting interface and set the target flow rate of methane;(4) Enter the evaporator settings interface and set the target temperature;(5) Enter the preheater setting interface and set the target temperature;(6) Enter the heat tracing device settings interface (if there is an external heat tracing connection) and set the target temperature;(7) Turn on the heating switch in front of the device and wait for the evaporator and preheater to reach the set temperature;(8) On the touch screen, enter the water flow rate setting interface, set the desired inlet water flow rate, then return to the main interface, click the inlet button, and start the inlet pump;(9) The device starts outputting the required gas.

6. Precautions for product use and maintenance

(1) Pay attention to equipment cleaning to prevent damage caused by residual water and residue.(2) Pure distilled water is required for the 0 inlet liquid source.(3) Non professionals are not allowed to disassemble the equipment.
