1、 Overview: The emergence of screw conveyors in mixing plants has achieved mechanization of material transportation, bringing convenience to people's production and life. Spiral conveyors can be used in chemical plants and other enterprises to transport powdered, granular, and small block materials such as coal powder, soda ash, regenerated rubber powder, zinc oxide, calcium carbonate, and small block coal. Spiral machines are not suitable for conveying materials that are prone to deterioration, high viscosity, and clumping. In concrete mixing plants, the role of screw conveyors has been greatly demonstrated. The use and promotion of screw conveyors in mixing plants have improved conveying efficiency and become high-quality mechanical conveying equipment for successfully completing conveying tasks. It has a beautiful appearance, is economical and practical.
IIStructural characteristics of spiral conveyor in mixing plant:
The rotating shaft of the screw conveyor is welded with spiral blades, and the blade surface types include solid surface type, belt surface type, blade surface type, etc. depending on the conveyed material. The screw shaft of the screw conveyor has a thrust bearing at the end of the material movement direction to provide axial reaction force to the screw along with the material. When the machine is long, an intermediate suspension bearing should be added.
The large inclination angle screw conveyor in the mixing plant is composed of three main parts: the screw machine itself, the inlet and outlet, and the driving device. In order to avoid excessive bending of the screw shaft and friction with the outer pipe, a support should be added in the middle of the screw shaft, and the degree of disturbance should be checked. The middle support is set to reduce the radial deflection of the screw conveyor shaft, which has harsh working conditions. Due to the discontinuity of the spiral blades at the intermediate support, the length and lateral dimensions of the support along the axis should be minimized as much as possible to prevent material blockage at this location. The support here can be made using support bearings or flange supports.
