The core component of a disc filter is a stacked plastic filter disc with grooves or edges made on it. The grooves or edges on adjacent filter discs form a channel of a certain size, and suspended particles with a particle size larger than the channel size are intercepted to achieve filtration.

In the filter system, backwashing is carried out sequentially between each filtering unit and workstation. Installation precautions

1. The equipment should be installed in a bypass manner to facilitate maintenance and repair without shutting down the machine.

2. This equipment can be installed horizontally or vertically according to the site conditions. The equipment must be connected to the pipeline in the direction of the inlet and outlet. When installed vertically, the inlet of the equipment faces upwards, and when installed horizontally, the outlet faces downwards.

3. Valves should be installed at the inlet, outlet, and drain outlet of the equipment (the drain valve should be a quick acting valve).
