1. The sand water separator is a mechanical equipment used in the primary sewage treatment process to further separate the sand water mixture discharged from the sedimentation tank. It can remove impurities such as sand, gravel, and inorganic substances, and is an ideal supporting equipment for cyclone sedimentation tanks, aeration sedimentation tanks, and other types of equipment. The sedimentation area and sand transport area of the sand water separator are enclosed integrated structures, which have the characteristics of compact structure, high working reliability, and low maintenance workload.
2. The separation efficiency of the sand water separator can reach 96% to 98%, and particles with a particle size of ≥ 0.2mm can be separated with a recovery rate of not less than 98%;
3. Under normal circumstances, the sand water separator is matched with the performance of the sand pump between the pump type sand trap and the sand storage room. When necessary, it can also run continuously.
4. The material of important components such as the shell, bracket, and sand conveyor of the sand water separator is made of stainless steel. Installation Instructions
1. Check the installation dimensions of the spiral sand water separator, whether the power supply and distribution are intact, and turn on the spiral sand water separator;
2. Conduct a no-load test to check the operation of the sand water separator;
3. During the installation of the spiral sand water separator, all connecting bolts must be securely connected;
4. The power allocation should be determined based on the working conditions, conveying medium, installation angle, and conveying length;
5. The spiral sand water separator can be customized according to the specific size and requirements of the user.
Structure and working principle
The sand water separator consists of a shaftless spiral, lining strip, U-shaped groove, water tank, guide plate, and driving device.
Working process: The sand water mixture is input into the water tank from the top of one end of the separator. Heavy particles such as sand in the mixture will deposit at the bottom of the U-shaped groove. Under the push of the spiral, the sand particles will be lifted along the inclined U-shaped groove bottom and continue to move a certain distance away from the liquid surface. After the sand particles are fully dehydrated, they will be discharged into the sand bucket through the sand discharge port, and the water separated from the sand will be discharged from the overflow port and sent to the inlet water tank in the factory.
