working process

The spiral sand water separator consists of a shaftless spiral, a lining strip, a U-shaped groove, a water tank, a guide plate, an outlet weir, and a driving device.

The sand water mixture is input into the water tank from the upper part of one end of the separator. The heavier parts of the mixture, such as sand particles, will deposit at the bottom of the groove. Under the push of the spiral, the sand particles will rise along the inclined groove bottom and continue to move a certain distance away from the liquid surface. After the sand particles are fully dehydrated, they will be discharged into the sand bucket through the sand discharge port, and the water separated from the sand water will be discharged from the overflow port and sent to the inlet water tank in the factory.

working principle:

The sand water separator is mainly composed of shaftless spiral, lining strip, U-shaped groove, water tank, guide plate, and outlet weir drive device. The sand water mixture is input into the water tank from the top of one end of the separator. Heavy particles such as sand particles in the mixture will settle at the bottom of the groove. Under the push of the spiral, the sand particles will lift along the inclined U-shaped groove bottom and continue to move a certain distance away from the liquid surface. After the sand particles are fully dehydrated, they will be discharged into the sand bucket through the sand discharge port. The water separated from the sand is discharged from the overflow outlet and sent to the inlet water tank in the factory.

The sand water separator equipment is usually set at an inclination angle of 20-30 degrees. The sand water mixture enters the equipment from the water supply pipe, and the mixture passes through the condenser at the upper part of the separator to separate the sand particles and organic matter in the mixture under the action of water flow. The sand and water enter the sand collection tank, and the particles with a larger proportion (such as sand particles) settle to the bottom of the spiral groove due to their own weight, and are pushed by the spiral blades. The material rises along the bottom of the inclined U-shaped groove, leaves the liquid surface, and then moves a distance. The moisture in the sand particles flows through the gap of the spiral groove and returns to the water tank. The sand particles also gradually dry and enter the discharge outlet. Due to their own weight, they fall into other conveying devices. The supernatant continuously overflows from the drainage weir through the pipeline, while the organic matter flows out from the top of the collector under the action of the water vortex and flows back to the sewage well through the pipeline, thus achieving the purpose of sand water separation
